WannaBeRichs: IPOKEDER is a fuc king fish for real
^
last line in the video that it cut off before i could catch it. it basically summarizes the movie for those who are too lazy to watch it.

here are the links:
filefront: http://hosted.filefront.com/pokerintheface/
mydatabus: http://www.mydatabus.com/public/200NL/a/200nl.wmv

i recorded this movie last night but halfway through i realized my mic wasn't working so i decided to just fuck it and dub it this morning. so, although obviously i know what happened, i tried to make my analysis unbiased and representative of my thought process at the time.

my stats for the session:
VPIP = 33.33, PFR = 27.94, AF = 3.77
edit: yeah, and it's not very long since i realized i wasn't recording any audio lol. it's a little over half an hour and has 204 hands.

comments or questions or snide remarks about how i can't beat 50NL FR are welcome

pz

ps. if anybody wants me to upload it somewhere else, tell me where

i guess

i don't talk very much about hand selection, i kind of take that aspect for granted given the audience; i assume that the players who are watching are playing 50NL+ and don't need hand selection explained.

u dont raise 88 from bb with a limp from CO and the sb? well i consider it pretty standard raise for me and i am rather tight player

Q: the hand where u raised AJ from the button, flop came A8x, u bet solid, he called, turn came blank. pot was like 112$. u decided to bet like 48$. i find this kinda strange, but it worked out nice. were u actually thinking about getting away of that hand or were u decided to see the SD no matter what? maybe u can explain ur thinking a little more?

ok well on the turn i have AJ, pot is like $114 or something and he has about a psb behind. board is Ad8x2d3x, he limp/called after i raised on the button. the hands i'm beating are A4, A5, A6, A7, A9, AT, 87d/89d. at this point i basically hav eot play my hand all in, i can't check behind or bet/fold; so my goal should be to try to stack as many of the hands in this range as i can. the best way to do this is not to move in; he may fold A4, A5, A6, A7, A9 to a push. so i figured the best move was to bet half pot and induce him to push over or call.

i dunno if it's the best play but it made sense to me. i would not make this play at higher stakes against a player i respect; i'd probably either shove or check back

i would say ur bet made ur hand quite readable (for someone who thinks about it), but it probably doesnt matter against donks and it was probably a good play against a donk.
but what i find somewhat weird is that ur play gave u no chance to possibly escape from that hand, so u basically had to play for ~150$ with a hand as marginal as that (and not a lot of info on ur opponent).
