It's either a monster, or a missed flush draw.

Your call, depends on read.

I'd never ever fold that cause most of the time it's a split pot, bluff possible too.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

i fold there too. even though its probably a split, it just doesnt seem at all worth calling that much to split a pot of that size

maybe it's just a leak of mine, but is anyone else a little hesitant to play weak aces that only hit TP as fast as this?

It's a good fold. and no RIkD, I never play weak aces that hit top pair that strong.

Id pot control on the turn and maybe check or bet less.

You have a piece of shit hand that is rarely the best and definately not worth defending with such a strong turn bet.

yea i know but this situation was a little different.
i hate it when there's a flush draw on the flop. i don't want to give good odds.

yeah, at least the way i play weak suited aces i have no beef letting them go oop in a multiway pot with a flop like that

even in position in this situation i could let them go on the flop, but may call to see what he does

either way i'm trying to keep the pot as small as possible

Tough hand, no easy answers.

It would be pretty silly of him to push with a lone Ace. Then again he might be a fish.

If he's solid, the way he played it I could put him on 44 and fold. I think he would've raised with A9 at some point before, but there's also a possibility like that.

I think he posts on LP so we could ask him?

Peace of mind cant be bought.

I would call this. Highly doubt he has A9, prolly just robbing you. The only thing to be really scared of is 44

Hi Eerik, well, since so many people were involved in this hand, I will answer your question.. If you would have called, it would have been a split pot.. I knew you had the A, I had an A also, a weak one, else I would have raised you on the turn, or even preflop. When the second A pops up, I knew it was a split, the only way to prevent the pot from being split was going allin to pretend I had a 9, which I didn't..

I'll break it down like this:

10% he's bluffing = You win the entire pot
85% he has just an ace = you guys are going to chop
3.5% he has A9 = you get shit on
1.5% he has 44 = you get uber shit on and you look like a retarded newbie for overplaying A5.

Your getting 1.6 to 1 to call... lets use some common sense here....

... You should call.

If he's solid I wouldn't say it's 85% that he has just an ace.

Peace of mind cant be bought.
