Dude, if villain is deepstacked as well, he did play some big pots already, he didn't just sat down. I find it always so lame and easy to say 'no info on villain', thats just saying, "I didnt really pay attention", so please just say that instead of "villain just sat down", which is obv false.
About the hand, because its NL2 I instacall, more often than not villain will have a lower straight or trips or does something retarded. QT and QJ are a cooler I think, and actually, he has to be pretty retarded to check his trips that turned into a FH on the river when you checked turn behind. But hey, as said you should know if villain is decent or not....... |

you need to be right ~ 50% of the time to make this call, id personally call here because its nl2 only but at nl10 or something id turbomuck this(as its a fullhouse 70+% of the time).
p.s. bet the river properly, not some halfassed 1/3rd potbet |

u can buy into these tables for like 5$ so u start off 250bbs deep
what u should note here is the aggression factor, 0.8 is very passive so he's just calling bets a lot postflop, now what u have to think about is that he shoved allin & has this stat
id probably fold cuz its at least AK (splitting) or a fullhouse of some type and u have very little in the pot already |

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN | Last edit: 10/03/2008 08:04 |

I see... I wasn't sure what to make of it because of the small sample size, but I guess it becomes clearer in relation to the large(ish) VPIP. Thanks! |

I would never fall for this, his bet is gigantic compared to the pot and just because of that you shouldn't call. If he has a full, he will know he can't get value off his good hands vs you if he does dumb moves in the future, plus i can't see him doing that without the nuts since you could hold a full on this board so basically it's a very bad attempt at getting value with his boat OR he's ubber retarded, in both cases just turbo fold...

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt | |

Obviously, you're not going to get good accurate numbers / a defined aggression factor against most 2nl fish, I don't play with gametime or even a PT timer running most of the time...should probably start. Would save me a ton in shitty hero calls.
Anyway, with any kind of "weak/passive loose pf fish" read and/or impression that you were likely to get if you were playing close attention, this is a fold. You need an opposite read, swung very far the "other way" (weak/aggro retard) to make this call. |
