<img align="right" src=http://admins.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/c16223b2f74a2b1cbc775ab114be0aad.jpg style="margin:5px; border: 0px solid black;">Over 4 months of investigation has preceded the next episode of 60 minutes. The episode about the biggest cheating scandal in the online pokerworld, the super-user accounts of AbsolutePoker and UltimateBet, couldn't have been timed better, only a few days after the launch of their response: CEREUS Network. 60 Minutes is the most successful broadcast in the US television history, and has been running prime time for 40 years now. This episode called "How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters" will be aired on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
It all started with a simple mistake - a player asked for a hand history from a tournament, and instead of receiving just his own - he was sent whole hand history for all players, with all their cards exposed. After some review on internet forums, a suspicious thing was discovered: one player made correct decisions in every hand he was involved. And by every, we mean every single hand he played: "He was raising, just really, really bad hands against very good hands. He seemed to play crazy. It seemed like he was giving his money away. Except the only thing was, he wasn't losing. He was playing in a style that was sure to lose, but he was killing the game day after day," said Todd Witteles, one of the players that played a vital role in the investigation.
After weeks of investigations fueled by a lot of interested pokerplayers, the biggest cheating scandal ever in online poker was unmasked: the existence of an account that could see all the wholecards of other players. How it all happened and ? Tomorrow, we'll get to know more. Here's a short preview of the story:

woooonk woooooonk. This is a definite watch the person was probably a CEO's grandson or some other complete idiot. The scary thing is considering the smart "thinking" cheaters with super user accounts merely sustaining a sexy believable winrate. No way to really know unless its made blatantly obvious like this example. |

So whats the verdict on this kind of story? Are we worried that it will just build anti-gambling sentiment and support for the UIGEA and its clones? |

Two different pro players told me about super users at redstar/cake highstakes appear time to time heres the story:
There were a few high stakes regs I know IRL playing high stakes constantly, but sometimes a new strangers sit in the game, take down about 5-10 buyins in less then a hour, and then never appear on the site.
Reg sitting alone with 60k at NL10k table, a new player joining the game and wins his whole stack HU in 40 min with unfoldable spots, like KK v AA preflop, set over set, AK v KK etc... then he dissapear from site forever.
Another reg await for players at NL5k 15k stack: unknown person sit it, take down 6 buyins in unfoldable spots in like 100 hands sample size, and noone ever saw him at tables anymore. Same story happen twice to this guy.

That's not good PR for online poker, all the newbies who watch it just figure it's rigged and never deposit.
Wouldn't want that. |

So wait, the superuser can see all the community cards (before they are flopped) as well as other players cards?
Its most likely to be an internal person in the company. |
