Suggestions to improve LP.net

Hey guys,
I think this thread might be very usesul.

-Bring the top weekly HOTW hands again, those were fun and made ppl post more hands
-Bring the tournment performance of the week, its makes ppl create more rail threads
-More cool different avatars with a rating system?

add colour themes/skins to the site so you can change the colours to grey/darker or like blue/grey etc

I tried to do this with chrome stylebot, but i find it hard on this site.

im no web designer but on most sites you can change colors without knowing css/html,

but if somebody knows css i think it would be great to change the appearance on this site, then you can put it
in chrome store (it would still be free tho), and people could download it : )

Something I think would be cool is organizing a LP hu elimination tourney with rankings march madness style.

have LP find one of their own and back him in a superstar showdown vs isildur

when i started reading LP i really enjoyed the interviews from experienced players, would like to see that again.

I think there might be a better solution for the hand window on the right, when you post a hand it doesn't take more than few minutes sometimes for it to vanish from the main page because of more hands being posted. That's bad if you like to get comments/opinions on your hand.

Maybe have an additional text/number next to number of comments to the right under the Hands tab, like SS/MS/HS or just simply NL25 / NL2K / NL100 or whatever? I know the blinds shows when you click on hands but maybe show something on the frontpage aswell

that would be cool, probably will keep HS hands in longer aswell as usually theres where the interesting discussion happen

something to tag names like in fb would actually be good, because sometimes I have a question for someone about their hand, and they never see it.
