Hey

Been going on a downswing lately, down about 8 buys in the last 2 days so I countered that by dropping the stakes a bit

I decided to make a video of 100nl. I liked making it and might make mroe if the demand is there. I'm hoping that other people that play near/around the same limit as me would either start making videos, or watching these videos adn leaving comments.

And for people that can't beat 100nl or 50nl, I think this is a good video to watch because it has some unique betting lines and I get into some situations that you may not feel comfortable in.

I am a winning player and I just went through 25, 50, 100nl so I know how to beat it. However, I only beat it for 3-5 BB/100. There's bound to be some leaks in my game and I'm ready and willing to be put through the microscope.

I'm doing these videos to generate discussion, I want people to hypercritise me and my play. I want to become a better player. So please, even if youre skill level is way above 100nl, don't pass up this video. Give it a watch - at least fast forward to the end where i review pokertracker and go over some hands.

Bottom line, I want some poker friends. I want to discuss poker , sweat sessions, watch videos.

So if anyoen wants to talk poker, go over hands, sweat sessions - I have a huge amount of time available to me right now and will be more than willing to do this for anyone, any stakes. I do this because I have a passion for poker and constnatly want to learn more and get better

Downloading vid now, will leave comments when I'm done. Also I might be up for some hand discussion or something via AIM once in a while, I've been moving up in stakes pretty regularly and am taking a few shots at NL100 now.

<3 snider

I'm gonna DL and watch this =)

And I might start making videos again too... I did a handful for friends and to get advice from people and they were very helpful.

We should definitely do some sweat sessions - I don't care who watches who, but it would be nice to work with someone who's playing similar limits to me ^^

I'll add you on MSN right now...

Thank you for the video. I'm sure it will help me prepare to move up to NL100 in the next month or so(would be sooner but school takes up a bit of time. I'd love if you made more video's like this as I would love to have more people to bounce plays off of and get feedback on my play and poker theory in general.

I would have pushed the A10 when the donk who already limp re-raised did it for like the 5th or 6th time. Any particular reason why you folded? Especially since you said you were considering doing so with the A5 when he limped and you raised a bit later on?

Sorry dude he Jason Bourned me. -Johnny Drama

The 88 hand against OnDraw, the flop reraise of the minraise seemed really spewy to me as it doesn't seem you are ever ahead of his donk range in that spot. The 69 hand seemed a little questionable, as a strong bet rather than an over shove might be a little better if you're trying to steal the pot there.

The video was nice and I'm hoping its not the last video you make.

About the 96o hand, with your river push you are trying to represent the ace, right? You said you were expecting to get a fold from hands like QQ, JJ, but his hand on the river is essentially equivalent to a hand like QQ. His 2 pair is counterfeited by the two 7s on the board, so he has a pair of aces and no kicker. He should be as scared of an ace as a medium pocket pair would be, so I agree with Xenocidegs that maybe your overbet shove looked too much like a bluff and not like an ace.

Either way I agree it's a fold preflop, and I don't think the 3 bet was all that small either. Lots of people 3 bet to 3x as a standard raise.

Like Bejamin I also thought you were going to shove the ATs against OnDraw, and once you decided not to the A5 seemed a little weird.

Quick theoretical spot question: In the KJ hand against agieman, how would you play the river if a blank low car had it or if the flush completed? Would you lead out still, c/c, or c/f typically?

sniderstyle   United States. Jan 28 2008 18:16. Posts 2046

yeah , the 88 hand was terribly and i wish i would have folded

and thinkign about it, teh bluff push was pretty bad, i should have bet like 35-40

the kj hand, on the river, id probably check/call a small bet, check/fold a big bet
because if he did indeed have any draw, people love to make one last bluff bet on the riv

I didnt push teh AT hand because the stack sizes were getting bigger, i think he had like 90$ - I'm really terrible vs shortstacks and they tilt the crap out of me - espeically shorties like ondraw. I just have to avoid tables against them
