when you don't hit against a station out of position, and especially when you don't really have any kind of draw, keep the pot as small as possible.
So checkcalling a small bet hoping for a showdown is fine. Checkfolding is also fine.
Just make a pair and 3 barrel. |

if you know villain to be a station and will stack off with 88-22 here or a T all day then i check/fold turn. If you know the villain to be calling flop light at all but won't get it all in without a strong hand then I'm going to be hammering all 3 streets.
basically a 2nd/3rd barrel here needs an accurate assessment of villain's ranges and how he'll react. (read based basically) |

Yeah I'd just leave this flop alone. I think this is a very good spot for a 2nd barrell, since all villain's draws are now screwed, but definitely not vs a 74/16! |

interesting spot imo. one /of those 14/8/3 guys .
think i should have continued here. Why?
I think his calling range is highcards, which whom i chop if he has an ace, otherwise i am ahead, and, more interestingly: pocket pairs, with whom he is setmining. Well, unlikely he has AA or KK, since i have either one, that makes up for QQ, JJ, and 22-88, which got counterfeited on the turn. |

I'd expect to be good here ~50% of the time or so against these types of players, since your getting 3:1 I'm not going anywhere |

i'd probably call anything potsized or less on the river too, since he should be betting his entire range except A-high.
And I've gotta think you're good more than 50% of the time here.. i dont think theres too many 9s or Ts in his pf range. |
