I need help in this overall general situation - I've got a good but not great hand (TpGk) and bet the flop, get called . The turn brings in a draw (str8, flush) and now what do I do? Do I bet again or check it?

I feel like betting again can be good as you just fold to a raise from most people. But do you automatically check/fold the river too? Or do you bet the river again?

Also, when you are betting the flop with a flush draw and the turn brings in your flush, do you keep betting? Should we be considering how we play a flush when making our decision for the times we don't have one? I mean, if I had a flush I'd like to keep betting but I'd do that mostly cause I'd expect them to think that I didn't have it and it would allow me to get value.

But I don't like check/folding there - so is it a check/call and then check/fold the river? I just dunno!!!!

turn bet is fine, really hate the river call - he's never value betting a hand that you beat and he's never bluffing a board like that.

usually call river you're getting 5:1 and u bet really small on the turn, his range can include missed gutshots, maybe even worse jacks or TT if hes bad.
Turn for me really depends on the opponent. I could definitely c/f turn vs straightforward nits. Vs loose donkeys id bet and vs overagressive players I'd c/c.
Vs a good opponent.. it would probably depend on gameflow. Probably check and hope he checks behind and vbet any non club river. If he bets then you've gotta ask how often hes floating gutshots there, if Ax is in his floating range, and decide if you're willing to call down.

You also have to consider whether he'll turn a medium pocket pair into a bluff once u check the turn.

c/f river you're only calling to chop with jacks, prob chk/fold turn as well but that might be a little weak

I check turn, if you bet it's as a bluff.
