[NL100] Good Passiveness?

Sorry for flooding the forums with hands - I just reviewed my entire NL100 shot and found a bunch of things to ask questions on. I've posted some here in low stakes cause I think they're a bit simpler and the midstakes guys will just complain and tell me to post em in the low stakes forum, so here I am!

In these hands I'm not sure whether being passive was right or not - one hand I thought I was being slick and the other hand I was just confused.

1) a sane player would not bet worse for value there, so you are only bluff catching missed diamonds. It really depends on what you feel his flop peeling range is, could well include missed overs w an A. on the river need to refer to riv agg factor or your observations of other hands. Also how much you have been cbetting then folding in the last few hand could factor in. only need to be right about 25% of the time so probably just snap one off

2) donkbet_lol. usually trying to determine if their pocket 9's are good, or rarely a flush or straight draw (from a donk).
calling down out of position is going to be tough, but raising anywhere is going to get you in worse spots imo. call down look fine.

The problem with passivity is you do find yourself playing a guessing game against very large apparent ranges. Hand 1 looks fine, though against some people I might take the 2nd value bet on the turn and check behind river (or sometimes even take a 3rd chunk of value) or maybe fold to a solid lead and in Hand 2 I think I'd get the donkbet in first, trying to determine if my pocket 8s are good lol. If I did this, I'd expect to bet/fold a good turn like that king aswell.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

hand 1 i snap him off: i'm getting good odds + lots of draws busted on river so a big part of his range bricked. it's hard to think he has an A unless he has AXdd

hand 2 looks fine. I'd probably take a similar line. if you show aggression it's like turning your hand into a bluff (unless you know the dude will pay you with lower pairs and/or AK here -.-;;

another thing if you put him on those exact hands then i guess a value raise isn't so bad. or flat flop and lead turn something like that to protect your hand.

hand 1 call river
hand 2 reraise preflop? There is just no way i can flat 88 vs anyone named bluffmast22 who raises from the button. Especially with a 39% vpip behind me in the big blind. As played I raise flop huge.
