So I play on cake and they recently started running low buyin "flipament" stts and mtts (up to 3 table).

rules are buyin in... It runs out in like 15 seconds once it starts with everyone all in at a table winner either ships (stt) or goes to the "final table" which will just be the 3 dudes who won their tables flipping again.

so gambling and you pay a little rake.

Now a lot of the controversy going on right now is poker as a game of skill versus gambling and this is obviously pure gambling.

Pure poker sites like pokerstars and Fulltilt (they even discourage red pros from flipping on their own now) are okay right now.

PartyPoker from what i understand faced a lot of problems b/c of the blackjack which can't be argued for as a game of skill.

Cake offers this as of recently and seems pretty stupid to me (although I play when one fills and run good). I guess they don't care though since they run sports betting on non-cake skins (sportsbook) anyways.

Anyways j/w if you think they are actually jeopardizing any sort of "legit" status they have right now by offering straight gambling with no edge. I like the site but I don't want me money swooped like its rednines or something.

They operate outside the realms of legitness anyway, I don't think it matters. But I am not very educated on this subject
