Got 2 hands with very similar questions. I put em both in spoilers to keep the post from being huge.

A few answers...

1) Lagtard mode must have been on
2) Someone posted $3

And a question for you good sir, why? The funny thing is my reaction is exactly opposite, I feel like #1 is a give up and #2 is a barrell, haha

I think villains range is much weaker in hand 1 and you can get him off a ton of hands by the river, you have some outs, you are bringing f draws to valuetown and tptk is mostly out of the question
plus if he has KQ he is raising the turn so gogo barel turn and shove most rivers imo

hand 2 he calls 3bets rarely, you have shitty outs and he will never fold top pair, only 99 and JJ are scared of the barrel now, in which case you have to be blindly shoving river oop to put him off that. I doubt he calls 77-88 vs the 3bet if that percentage is somewhat accurate

edit
ahh I somehow missed that we have a double gutter on hand 2 on the turn thought it was only a gutshot... this changes things a bit, still I dont see many hands we are getting to fold by betting idk JJ and 99?

first hand fairly close, bet if you feel you can play the river well. 2nd hand is a clear bet. You'll win the pot a ton and you've got a million bluff outs + your real outs.

Flop cb is of course fine, and turn I think we have the best hand most of the time. Not sure if I want to bet or c/c :C

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

Yeah I was thinking that in hand #2 it's really a situation where I can be the turn and jam the river a lot.

Yeah I got all weirded out by being OOP vs an aggressive reg and just thought "fuck this sucks" and had no clue what to do. I didn't feel good betting but didn't like checking either.

hand 1 on turn since there are so many draws out you can't check and rep a K, so if you decide to c/call the turn your hand is entirely a bluffcatcher.
I think I prefer betting a little less on the flop, like 18, then the pot is 63 on the turn and when you bet $40 or something you make it really awkward for him to raise or shove ($40 bet, like $180 behind... raise anything and he's kind of committed)

hand 2 in 3bet oop pots w/ the 'steal' part of your range, be wary of barreling draws and then convincing yourself you have odds to call a shove. that said on this board I would barrel that turns pretty often.

this shit is OBSURD

hand 1 c/c turn, river depends on reads.

hand 2 shove, however preflop is horrible, just fold that crap when ur gonna be OOP post.
