Villain is running 27/26/25.7 over 96 hands and has 3bet 5/10 steals from the SB. He seems extremely aggressive postflop (has b/3b the flop 4/5 times!)
What do we do after we get 3bet with JJ here? Is 4b/call (vs. SB) spewy?

Just ship it IMO, get called by 55-TT/AK |

You're focusing on the wrong villain. Unless BB is a station his range is really strong here. I guess I'd flat and take a flop. 4b/call vs either player is pretty bad in this spot.
If BB weren't involved then I'd 4b/call most of the time if he likes to resteal. He might get all paranoid and shove light because he doesnt want to get bluffed BTN vs blind. Flatting in position would not be bad either. |

BB is somewhat unknown. He's 44/25 over 16 hands, has cbet 1-2 times and folded to cbets 1-2 times.
@joLin is shove not a huge overbet? What worse hands are calling? |

@johnmagi: Do we really get calls from 55-99? |

joLin and johnmagi posted while I was typing lol. Am I overestimating BBs range here? Alarm bells go off in my head whenever people cold call 3bets. A lot of slowplayed KK and AA in there imo. I'd expect SB to be worried about about BB too so our 4bet should only get action from QQ+,AK or something like that. |

I really appreciate that you post on microstakes hands. 99% of the time your advice makes perfect sense to me and it's obvious you know what you're talking about. I think this statement needs to be explained though. |

CCer in the BB changes the entire dynamics of this hand imo, but since he's quite a station 4betting isn't so bad I guess |

You have the 4th best hand in Hold'em man. 4-bet and get ready to ship it |

well i did post above that asking about the bb. it does depend a lot on him, if hes tight/nitty i prob wouldnt shove. if hes loose or fishy i think its ok. flatting the 3bet, 4betting, or shoving should all be ok. im not sure which is best but to me shoving is the easiest bcuz i suck. |

Results: I 4bet to 3, SB 5bet to 6.9, BB folded, I folded. (Is folding to this 5bet ok?)
Unrelated: 5 hands after this I had AKs, thought it was time to stack this guy. We did the same b/3b/4b/5b routine with the same increments and he showed up with QQ .
PS: @joLin and others commenting, thanks for all the advice!

You shouldn't 4 bet and fold here, if you're not comfortable getting the money in then just flat preflop. |

if you're going to 4 bet in this spot it is to stack off. |

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts. | |
