did anyone actually not see this coming? merge has been stupid enough to strongly publicize its involvement with american players. |

this, absolutely no way the DOJ would allow a company to do this so brazenly, and they'll probably come down on merge hard. |

this is so incredibly stupid, but from a business perspective maybe it is worth the risk...But they will be shut down by the US government as soon as they have all the incriminating evidence and facts set up - even if it takes a couple of years. Greedy people gonna be greedy i suppose... |

merge is safe, wait for hero poker to re-open. its quite safe to grind online these days, but you must always realize it could have the pull plugged any second, although i find hero to be safe for atleast 6 months to 1-2 years.
I'm liking hero now, i'd probably play there post the harrah's online casinos tbh |

Nothing has happened, it is just an unsourced unconfirmed rumor. I hope everybody doesn't try to cash out because of this because then merge really will be in trouble. |

yeh guys, dont try to cash out. please wait for the inevitable implosion when they get butt-raped for trying to scoop up the US market right under the DOJs nose.
merge cant continue to operate without using your bankroll as donated funds. |

This + Dave (heropoker-ceo) has made it clear if the US market does get shut down, he will be able to pay back US players. |

I'm leaving my bankroll on merge. If a large % of players cash out their funds now that will pretty much guarantee nobody will get anything because despite what they say the players funds are probably not segregated and they won't be able to handle all of the cashouts. Also my money is safer on merge right now than it is in the hands of some shady payment processor with rumors of DOJ actions looming. |

also, like i stated before, i expect something to occur in december in regards to a federal online gaming bill, so i'm not really surprised that they would go after merge right now.
wait til december/january, i have it on good authority things will probably change then. |

lol at not cashing out because of that reason... I would have took my money there asap... This is like street racing (fast and furious type of race). You guys are doing something somewhat ilegal and you can enjoy the moment but when theres rumours that the cops are on its way then get the hell out of there asap |

It takes 4-6 weeks for americans to get money off of merge under the best of circumstances. If this rumor is true the DOJ is not going to wait that long. |
