LemOn[5thF], Feb 09 2013
Decent day ya'all after pretty much not playing at all during the week apart from a couple hours I was totally fucked from yesterday's work, was selling on flats uphill and training a new guy so was sweating like a pig running uphill on stairs, have calves like Schwarzenegger after that lol, went to gym and sauna anyway today :O
There were some epic spews, observe:

This hand was so weird, I decided to limp call pre for some reason (damn you Cosmo), just to play a pot with the fish, I'd l/f otherwise. Iso is superior.
OTT I feel like I can't fold but he has all nut combos in his range and there's a lot more of them than 99 but I expect him bet flop with TJ some.

and boinked one $11 235fff thingy.
It's good to be back to working out again after 3week break due to illness. I will have a gym session tomorrow and if I will be able to shake the tiredness I might put in some proper sessions, today was just relaxing grind no stress watch movies, listen to music I even took an unexpected nap when I sat down on a couch
TOmorrow
I am like 300VPP away from the imba 5k VPP bonus, $50 with only 1k VPP increment so goal is to hit that tomorrow and stop the total spews that I don't do that often anymore, which is why I am a steady eddie this time around. I never mind when I make a mistake and wrongly evaluate their range, but the irrational tilt plays that I know instantly are wrong even before doing them like H1 are the biggest ones that I'm trying to eliminate from my C game.
BR is at $1430 I actually withdrew $250 to have some booze money a week back, but it's aight as without getting in shape I can't rly grind NL50 as I need at least my A- game to have higher hourly than the 11bb/100 I maintain at lower limits.
Update - weird BRM?
LemOn[5thF], Jan 27 2013
My goal is to get back on track with fitness ASAP because i started eating shit no excercise because of being ill for a week again :/
Poker is going well. I am doing something I would 100% recommend for any part-time player which is not having one set limit, but play according to current state of mind.
I have a bedrock limit that I can grind easily with my B- game on many tables with 70+BI and put most volume in on that limit, especially after work, when tired etc. I also play much higher with around 20BI when I know I will play my A game mostly and will be able to focus.
I do a lot of spewing, huge tilt sessions and failed shot taking but it doesn't really show because I always put in masstabling volume on limits where it's hard to lose, with super low pressure because I have a very deep roll for them. This was NL5 then NL10 now NL16 and makes for a pretty stress free grind that doesn't stall my progress because I still put in quality sessions at the highest stakes my BR allows, but only when I can focus on them properly with my A game.
Graphs from 16th November, with 60hr/week job:
Roll from $50 to $1230 now.
Free $30 on FTP/Stars
LemOn[5thF], Jan 24 2013
step one:
1) Link FTP account with Stars account
2) Transfer $10 to FTP, a $10 for $10 promo should apear in your news on Stars do it if it does.
3) check ftp - the $10 turns into $20+$20 ring game ticket (that expires by the end of the month, 500 ftp points needed to release)
4) transfer $20 to stars, it got there in 10 minutes
5) gambol on your $20 ticket on FTP (expires in 7 days)
6) Profit
Already went AIPF Q9s won v QQ and made 4.22 on ftp halelujah. They must be doing this to show how easy is to transfer between the two, free money yay :D

LemOn[5thF], Jan 02 2013
Holy fuck I love this game so much you can't imagine :D
I'm mentally much stronger than last time, my job is very stressful as I work in sales and get 94% of people tell me no/fuck off so for the past 9 months I worked on keeping work ethic/positive attitude and learning even when getting shitloads of negatives and setbacks. Poker is really a breeze now and tilting/spewing was always my biggest issue.
Basically the reason why I had to quit in December last year was I played NL25 fulltime and had superthin margins with little savings and had to stop for 3 weeks cause of family issues and when I split up with my GF my expenses doubled overnight and with 0 buffer saved I just couldn't sustain the crazy NL25/NL50 fulltime grind I managed for a long period before.
But I had a blast playing/watching vids/trolling forums and learning again over Xmas despite flu/some gay throat infection. I'm gonna do it the right way now, just grind 1hr/day + at least 16hrs/weekend and read forums/listen to audio when travelling and move up to NL100 at least with 6months rent saved from my job and if I manage that I might give fulltime poker a shot once again because I just love the lifestyle/the community and you guys
Here is my graph since I started again/including Xmas grind
BR Now at $420 +1kFPP from $50 when I started.
I will juggle 4 tabling NL10-NL25 when I feel good and masstable NL5 when I am tired from work/hangover and try to get to $500 so I can start taking proper NL25 shts and not just 1table bumhunt.
Ty for all the advice over the last two weeks especially I I will have to stop learning properly now and just play but laid a decent foundation for a decent grind.
Peace out LP, I go rejoin the EVery Day Grind
P.S.

Had a lot ot tilty sessions after work, need to work on my discipline as shuffling 60hr/wk job with floorball, poker and gym takes a lot of balancing. One thing I have to desperately change is my diet and regular sleep, I became a well disciplined person in the last few months (already cut virtually all alcohol) but will now take it to another superhuman level and become unstoppable
I started reading pokerstrategy basics again, forgot loads of shit like that you should cbet more on drawy boards and when your range is stronger and vice versa
Thanks LP
The help is much appreciated, loving the comments on hands LP seems to be a bit dead recently strategy wise so hopefully there are some basic spots that you are helping me with that others will find useful too.
PLease comment on the stats again. It seems I need to look at my SB hands, am I being too loose there? Prolly just need to tighten my SB, if theres any specific stats I can post from SB that could tell you what I'm doing wrong Im all ears

Will start grinding NL10 with 20BI now, move down 2BI etc, but will tableselect like a mofo which I think is necessary when you're learning and the rake is so high.
