One more buyin...
  edzwoo, Nov 23 2008

...until my shot at NL50!

In terms of putting players on specific ranges, I think I played SPOT on today. Toward the end though, I was getting kind of spewy. I was calling or checking in spots where I should have raised to push people off hands (I like trying to hero call w/ high card ), and I started paying people off to see their hands . It's okay though, because every single time I got it in good, my hand held up. Zero bad beats today.

20bi okay for next level?
  edzwoo, Nov 21 2008

I'm approaching the $1000 mark, and I'm thinking about taking my shot at NL50 when I hit it. Sound okay?

I really feel like I've been crushing NL25 lately, and I'm pretty confident I can take NL50 as well.

A little bump but I'm still going up
  edzwoo, Nov 18 2008

First significant losing session in a while, eh? I just played really bad though. Luckily I've been running good.

So I had this epic read on the villain that he overplayed every Ax and he would chase any draw, AND he was on sick monkey tilt since I took money off of him earlier. I was going to shove river and post it on LP and be like LOL LOOK I HAVE SICK SKILLZ but he was like LOL BLUFFSHOVE NO FOLD EQUITY FOR YOU ROFLCOPTER DOWN and I got really mad and somehow convinced myself that my King could beat an Ace and called.

Getting close to NL50
  edzwoo, Nov 15 2008

I feel invincible on NL25 right now. I've been running a little over 6ptbb over the last week, and the last few days I've really been crushing it. At this rate, I'll be up to NL50 very soon.

LOL SESSION
  edzwoo, Nov 13 2008

So there was a guy at a table with a $100 stack. I was multitabling so I didn't notice, but he had a 0% fold to cbet rate. ZERO. Also, he bluffed at EVERY single pot and on every single street, often with total air. He also called coldcalled 3bets all over the place, but he was on a sick heater so he would catch huge flops and stack people. Also, you knew when he had a premium because he would open for 15x BB LOL.

I caught great cards and flops and ended up taking his whole stack with these three hands:

I never slowplay KK like this, but I really thought I would lose value from air like 50% of the time. River was misclick .

I just flopped the nuts vs this guy and we're both 200bbs deep. He floated me three times before (yes, THREE), so I figured it would have been optimal to let him do it again. No, I didn't check the river because I was afraid of the flush , but I thought I would fold out air by shoving. I was ABSOLUTELY SURE he was going to shove the river with anything.

After I took that pot, I got so excited that I bm chatted, "boom". Someone told me that was mad bm sorry.

I don't usually call a raise with Axs, but I felt like gambling .

Another great session
  edzwoo, Nov 12 2008

+$86.30 or about 3 1/2 buyins today.

Since the past week, I've been beating the game at 10bb/100, or 5ptbb/100 at NL25 (+8 hands of PL25). My little session today was awesome. I got into several cooler situations, but I can't complain because I was hitting sets left and right.

NL5 and NL2- Good times
  edzwoo, Nov 11 2008

This was when I moved my roll to FTP, got owned by rake and cashed out everything. I had a little over $1 left on Stars, and my friend recently deposited, so I started with one min buyin at NL2.

Needless to say I didn't have to re-deposit on Stars, lol.

I really don't know how you could lose at NL2 and NL5 fullring. Obv 19/7 is optimal since you will stack someone 99% of the time if you hit a draw, and you're deepstacked in both games (250bb and 200bb max buyin respectively).

Good times.
