Limit Coaching
angryfishes, Apr 21 2009
if any of you nl players would like to learn / give limit a shot, im your man for it
this will be for 6max only, and will be only for the limits .5/.10 up to the limits .50/1
what i offer:
-sweating sessions
-hand reviews
-optimal lines to use vs the "four main" player types
-stats review/leak finding
-starting hands to play by game type you're in- derived from countless hours at poker stove
-no seminar in vegas
anyway there will be two payment options to choose from:
1)the first would be a small hourly fee- obv micro players dont have much br to spare
2)"free" with some form of profit sharing or something which can be discussed.
these are my stats at the micros
first half of graph was when i was nl player b4 i switched to limit

i am especially confident in my teaching ability as i taught a good friend of mine (for free of coz lol) - from being totally clueless at poker turn a 20$ deposit at 0.02 / 0.04 into 400 and hes playing .5/1 now. also was a finance tutor at uni teaching classrooms of 20+ if thats relevant, so im used to finding the best ways to explain stuff.
any questions, ASK!

I tried signing up with 2 different credit cards but for some reason my account is bugged. After a few emails they decide to give me one month free. Yay for DC support!
Hi Bryan,
There seems to be some bug with your account. So what I have done is upgraded your account for 1-month for free.
Hopefully the bug will be fixed by the time your 1-month is up and you decide to continue your subscription.
Sorry about this and see you on Deuces,

MILESTONE YUM!!
angryfishes, Feb 15 2009
Luckboxed a milestone.
I didnt even win, but i was in the hand so i got 550$ which is crazy coz im supernova.
brag: supernova
beat: still playing 50cent/1
anyway the guy who won got dealt pocket aces and was silverstar and got 832.5

as for poker... i have been playing only limit the last 3 months. maybe about 8k USD which is far below expectations since im just chilling/travelling/pokering while waiting for the job market to improve. ive been to bali and bangkok and got engaged too so lots of stuff has been happening in my life. bought my fiance a ds for vday and shes addicted to it like crazy.
anyway poker wise my high rolling friends staked me for 2/4 which im slightly up there while meanwhile i grind .5/1 limit at stars since im supernova + its just alot less stressful and easier then 1/2. Im like 3bb at 50cent/1 but 0.5 bb at 1/2

OH AND DOES ANYONE HERE ACTUALLY PLAY LIMIT?!
Only floofy (omgomg celeb) has msged me on msn (ONCE lol) apart from that no1 talks to me from here about hands and stuff and i feel so alone. cry cry
FML ACCOUNT LOCKED
angryfishes, Nov 03 2008
ROFL SO FUCKING STUPID
i played on cakepoker about a year ago and not touched it since. now i find my redstar account (which is a different skin on the same network) has been locked for 'fraud play' which is fucking retarded.
i signed up on redstar after reading this on bonus whores (http://www.bonuswhores.com/red-star-poker/)
You may have multiple accounts on the Cake Poker Network. However, you can't use the same email address for multiple sites on the network.
And i know its totally legit to do play on diff skins to clear the bonuses like the ipoker network where the skins just offer diff bonuses to compete for players.
Now im fucked? Whats the chances of me getting my 1k back? What can i do?
2nd in 1.5k gtd
angryfishes, Nov 02 2008
back to back 2nd palces

back to back SUCKED OUT IN FINAL HAND
omfg last hand was me tp was he middle pair we are about even in stacks. i check raise him all in and of course he makes trips on turn
fucking stupid omfg robbed like 500$ in total when i should have won both tourneies
2nd in 3k GTD
angryfishes, Nov 01 2008

entered a $5 dollar tourney for the fun of it
got 2nd place for 568 yay!
crazy that 5 bucks can turn into 560
last hand was me all in with tp vs an oe draw 66% vs 33% and of coz i lose to that donk who should have been out LONGGG ago omg
======
so i finally finished my god damn thesis and can start playing poker again. wanted a site with rake back so i deposited 500 on cake today and now its 1.22k lol
earlier on was messing around in omaha 50 and lost 200.i go to showdown way too much lol such a diff from nl where ur set is never good. and the swings are so huge i was up like 300 at one point grr. i think u need alot more buyins in omaha
anyway up about 300 in 50-100nl so it didnt matter
overall a great winning day
yay~
UK players 25% off
angryfishes, Oct 04 2008
amazon is adamant of not offering me any help, although it will be almost costless for them to provide a simple solution. omfg i feel an intense hatred for them right now.
changed my offer below to 25% off the listed price of every amazon.co.uk product
UK players help!!

bump
UK players help!
angryfishes, Oct 02 2008
So i traded my stars player points for two 250pound http://www.amazon.co.uk gift vouchers, basically cause they seemed like the best deal. i thought at worse ill be paying slighty more since the UK standard of living is high, and will be facing a slightly more limited range. also, before trading, i did email amazon.co.uk to ask if they could deliver items to Australia. They said something along the lines that they were a worldwide company and yes they can. Now i found out that they only deliver MUISC/DVD/BOOKS worldwide. In otherwords im fucked/epic fail/etc.
So i obv dont want 800USD worth of musicc/dvd/books. I just wanted to get an IPOD for my gf and a 24 inch monitor for myself, which sadly will never happen now. So what im proposing is for UK players to choose something they want from the amazon.co.uk website, i will order it and have it delivered to your specified address, and you can pay be back through stars/neteller/moneybookers in USD.
of course ill be giving an incentive. i will be giving a 20% discount absorbed by me off the listed price of any item. note that the vouchers in total is 500pounds
some items of interest (rather the items i was going to buy )
Thank You For Smoking [2005] DVD - Amazon price - £4.98
(You pay just £3.98)
24" TFT Samsung SyncMaster 245B plus 5ms DVI Wide LINK- £259.00
(You pay just £207.2, saving a massive £51.8)
Based on my 2 hours of research, i found this monitor and the benQ 2400 monitors to be the best in terms of value for money and capability. But this was cheaper so i chose it)
New Apple iPod classic 120GB LINK - Silver £172.41
(You pay just £137.9)
other notes:
Delivery of electronic products is listed on amazon as 2-3 days.
If i have many offers im going to choose the person who makes the most use of the 500pounds i.e spends closest to 500.
Exchange rate used will be as at XE.com which is 1 GBP = 1.76761 USD atm
So PM me ASAP and hopefully this will be a mutually benifical trade =)
100nl shot part2
angryfishes, Sep 15 2008
i found a way to get a such a high bb every single time omfg. lol obv im not sharing it ! If not for the god damn hand posted below, i would be at least 30bb again

anyway this is the reason i play limit. getting ur money in good and getting sucked out for ur whole stack. whereas in limit its just a few big bets. i fucking hate getting sucked out on in huge pots. really pisses me off so much that i just dont even wanna play nl anymore

and i would say i made some really good plays getting better hands to fold. (obv im folding to any aggression) my favourite hand winning the pot with 27o rofl. this is one situation where i think making miniraises are very good. obv im repping AK and the board is paired its so unlikely he has that K. i believe he had a lower pocket pair in this hand.

in this hand i put him on a weaker made pair or some type of fd. i open strongly so i certainly was repping hand strength. i dont know the maths but i think if he folds here half the time this bluff is good.
