F poker

Hey all,

So I'm moving to San Diego this September with some friends. One of them needs the place for August so we are starting the lease then just to secure a place and help him out, but that leaves two rooms vacant for August. The place is 3 bedroom/2.5 bath in Pacific beach (its a townhouse part of a 4 home unit). Kind of a long shot at such short notice, but I was wondering if anyone here is going to be in the area and needs a place to stay for August. We have 4 people paying ~$668/month now, so if someone wants to take a room or two off our hands for a month that would be AWESOME (would be willing to significantly lower the price). Right now its unfurnished but I'd order a bed to arrive in time if someone was interested in renting for a month.

I know I shouldn't be complaining as much as I have been...but this is pretty nasty. I'm on a 60-70 buy in downswing after winning at 5 ptbb/100 for just about 100k hands. Now i've played somewhere near 1 million hands by now and i've always been pretty consistent and never had anything near this magnitude (buy in wise... I've had larger swings in money before)...





Obviously something has gone wrong in my game and I'm playing and running like shit. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Also, if anyone wants to swap some sweats it'd be much appreciated

So i've been playing the 100nl non-rush tables lately and am still not winning. Summer so far:

Not really sure what happened but its pretty frustrating. Really big downswing buy-in wise so i'm sure its more than just variance. Anyone want to exchange some sweat sessions?

I forgot how to play poker or something. I keep losing, my red and blue lines are both tanking it. This is the worst downswing buy in wise i've had in the last 4 years... and oddly enough its at lower stakes than i've played for the past 2 or 3 years until recently. I decided I'd mix it up by throwing in normal tables instead of rush. Didn't help. I must be playing like an idiot though. None of my bluffs ever work, they always have the nuts when i look people up, and I'm obv not running well either.

Dammit I am on such tilt right now. These last couple days have been such a pain in the ass. I feel like I'm just sitting there getting sucked out and coolered having all the worst cards come every time. Here's the last 2 days. I really didn't think i'd have a big downswing like that considering I seemed to be crushing for the last 100k hands. Its at like 20 buy ins now from my peak



And overall for the summer so far



Hope it shapes up again soon, my confidence is getting pretty low

Been slacking a bit lately at putting in the hands. I'm trying to get 4000 hands a day but thats not happening lately. I also haven't been playing near my A game, i've been spewing some buy-ins every day in dumb spots where I have mega fancy play syndrome. That said i'm running good lately so i'm still winning at an awesome rate =].



I'll prob take it easy the next couple days so I don't burn out, and then ramp it up next week. Also, just registered for my grad classes at UCSD.

Well I've recovered and then some since my -12 buy in day. All is well in the world again.



Actually, I looked at my daily results, and aside from my first week back to poker, i've only had one day where I came out in the negative. Check it out.

In non poker news, I've decided to try to get into shape. So I started doing the p90x workout plan yesterday. I almost vomitted and had a really hard time, but I'm gunna stick with it.

Ouch. Today was my first losing day in a while. Unfortunately it was a bad one! I probably played pretty badly as I bluffed my stack off many times today. I know for sure I was tilted by the end.



Oh well.

Finally catching back up to my ev adjusted. I must be running pretty well situationally though. I feel like I have a good handle on all the regs nowadays though, most of my sessions run really smoothly.

Hopefully it keeps going, need to make like 20-30k this summer at least so I can go buy a car. Actually on that note does anyone have any recommendations for a car I should get around the 20k range (used or new, I don't care just want a good deal)? I'm really clueless about cars.

Been crushing 100nl rush for the last couple days hardcore. I feel like the rush poker player pool is really weak compared to the normal tables, and since I can only 4-6 table normally i get a massive increase on my hands/hr. Seems good to me.
