So real life sucks and just as I started making good progress on grinding my cash BR I have to withdraw basically all of it to pay for fixing my car. So I'll only have about 80 bucks left to work with.

That being said I'll just move back down to NL5 and keep crushing that, but I'm not going to put in NEARLY as much volume as I did in those coupla days. I have gotten my SNG action covered again and will only use the NL5 to fill in GAPS. I plan on putting in ALOT more volume in the upcoming days in the SnG world.

Basically I talked with the wife about doing this instead of replacing my seasonal job with a bush league part time job til something better comes up. I've very confident I can make more than minimum wage at the 6 dollar level, I just have to be focused and put in the volume. The plan is to start posting daily updates and really focus on getting more volume in and continuing to better my game.

I really want to be able to pull at least 100 a week off of the site, so I would need to profit 200 bucks a week. If I keep up my current ROI which is right about 50%, I'd only need about 50 games a week to pull this off. If I ever don't have 50 games in a week I'm going to be VERY angry with myself.

Since keeping a 50% ROI would be tough over a huge sample, I would like to set a goal of 150 a week starting off to see what I can do. I don't like playing much more than 8 tables but I may expand that to starting with 10 since early stages are so roboty. As the tournies progress I would like to keep 8 rolling for a good period of time.

So recap of goals: starting Monday

Weekly average of 150 games played in Feb.
Withdraw an average of $100/week in Feb.
Grind my small personal BR at NL5 try to get about 5k hands a week, but not mandatory.

So, swing swing swing yay. I just played bad, had leaks that were bad. Sat back thought about my play, and got back at it. Moved down to NL5 rush and helped get going back in the right direction. Right now I'm running 2 tables of NL5 and 2 tables of NL10. Going to keep at this for a bit and make sure I keep the upward trend. Mostly I just need to play nitty-er post and pot control better. Play more cautiously in 3bet pots. And damn it I need to tone down the CBet%, it's killing me IMO.

With Rakeback BR will be at $235.68

So, lets go NOT tilting down 6 BI's tomorrow.

With rakeback i was up $17.32 Putting my cash BR at $217.32.

Things I noticed. I NEED TO STOP GETTING BUSTED WITH OVERPAIRS VS SETS. I look back at hands and i'm like, "oh yeah he played that like textbook set" so yeah. Mostly just pot controlling. AA is still just a pair so stop overplaying it. that's my biggest leak that I'm seeing now. Of the two big downswings 3 of them were this. the other was pretty standard top and bottom pair vs top 2. not worried about that spot. Umm yeah, just looking to grind up my personal roll here so I'll try to get some volume in daily and post it on here....wont always be 3k hands but yeah...ship it

I've decided I'm going to play some NL10 to build my personal BR on the side of the staked SNG action I'll be doing.

I've piddled with it a little and didn't do alot of reading and have spewed a few BI's in the past, but I'm going to take it much more serious now. Watching some video's on CR and going to really try and focus up this week while I'm inbetween SNG action and snowed in. Not going to put a volume expectation yet, but mostly just want to get in there and turn a profit for a bit. Starting BR of 200 bucks, looking to run it up to a billion. Go Go Gadget run good me.

Good month. Would like to have not had the crappy finish but solid results none-the-less.

I really just need to bee more focused and play. The more I play the more I'm going to win. I need to focus up and make volume happen. I should have ALOT of weeks that I get 200 games played and I've yet to do it. I just need to focus up and get volume in period.

Also going to get in shape. Slowly been working on getting out more. The getting a dog is helping, I'm really motivated to take him on walks and go play in the park and stuff. The constant snow that northern MO is getting is however hindering progress. Meh, Let's go February!

Pretty meh week. Glad what felt like a bad week ended pretty even. Played mostly 6's with a mix of some 12's. Feel like I ran pretty bad, couldn't get a win the second half of the week. This hand seems to sum up my FT's for the week

Didn't get much volume in. Combination of busy, ran bad so didn't feel motivated, and getting back into Black Ops all factored into that. Don't feel like I played bad really, I need to not ever play the On Demand Rush tourneys ever again, not nearly as profitable as the 90 mans and yeah, I just spew.

ABI was over 10 this time, which is nice to see that I'm able to play these without a terrible doomswitch.

Actually, I'm running at about 30 percent ROI in just 13 dollar 90 mans. Small sample but still, I'm not noticing a big increase in good play, just a few people that I see alot more often. So yeah, its w/e.

I've been working on some of the math for like 3betting ranges with my friends, feel like its really going to help my game out.

Meh, back on the grind I suppose, I hope to put in more volume tomorrow than I did all last week, sooooo run good me...

Just curious as to what the feelings about this are on this site. What I've read on other sites is pretty much against it. I personally don't see how it can be a good thing.

The high stakes level is going to now be saturated with regs and good players 4x and then some fish 1x'ing. It also hurts the lower level in two ways imo

1) It will push more good players down to that level. People playing 26's are now going to be playing 5's 4x and so on.
2) It makes its MUCH more difficult to get started and BR properly

If you are a micro guy, and they make too many of these tourneys multi-entry then you are screwed into playing out of your BR, or doing the -EV thing and single reging. I'm fine with having this as an option, but they need to make new tourneys so rather than change current ones.

Apparently the entire double guarantee week is going to be multi-entry, every tournament.

Seems like its going to be bad.

Also the way merging works seems to be terrible. If there are 2 tables and you have the top 2 stacks, and it breaks to FT you get hosed. And I don't even want to think about the ICM calculations that people could come up with...eww...

All in all, I kinda like that FTP is trying stuff, trying to revolutionize the game, but this isn't it, and I hope they don't get out of control with this idea.
