Grindage

I got back from casino after losin 200 bucks and was kinda mad that I ran bad/spewed. So I opened up some nl2 and grinded for like 2 hours. I 4 tabled because my br was 24.xx. Pretty good session, I had a couple flushdraws shoved at me, some were busted ones shoved on river. None hit so it's cool.
I've only been playing poker a couple months, and boy I have a LOT of respect for all you grinders out there. Someday I will learn what it is to cash out

Casino Time

I'm getting ready to go play some cash game at a casino in Oklahoma called Winstar because all that crap is illegal in Texas.
I haven't really played cash outside of being with buddies of mine so I don't really know what to expect. I'll sit down and see what's up and feel it out. If that doesn't work out I'll rape some blackjack tables.
Wish me luck fellas, and best of luck to all you.

Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I thought that I might create a blog to interact with some fellow poker players. I'll use this first blog entry to introduce myself and let you guys know some things about me.
I started playing poker for the first time back in early June. I'd always just played games like go fish and war every time I got a deck of cards while everybody else would play Texas Hold'em. Curiosity got the best of me and I tried it out and realized I absolutely love this game. The simplicity of the game on the surface and the complexity of how the game is played is nothing short of awesome. I find myself doing nothing but watching poker on T.V., high stakes on stars and Full Tilt, and lurking on this website.
(I'm addicted to this site btw.)
I depostited a couple dollars on stars, just kind of messing around and of course knowing nothing about poker I lost it all. I haven't really had longterm success, perhaps because I started out on stars? At any rate, I've learned a lot since reading on this site and realize I need a new approach to how I play and better management on my BR. I have no idea on how to use PT so that's something I need to change.
I'm only 19 and know I have a long way to go but I hope that someday I can join the ranks of the non-micro stakes LPers out there and I can contribute in some way to this site.
I appreciate you guys taking the time to read this and I respect everybody on this forum. I look forward to interacting with you great people in the future. Next post won't be this long I swear lol.
