August NL10
Roto, Sep 01 2008
I'm fairly happy with my NL10 results since I started playing seriously about August 22nd :D. Although I only ran at 4.5BB/100 this can be attributed to many many spews that I am well aware of and can definitely fix in the future. I am going to move up to NL25 very soon but I will definitely study poker a little more before playing.
NL10 6max August 22nd until now
And below is my entire August graph or something, I believe there is NL2 and NL5 in there as well, all 6max.
I am quite proud of my $470 bankroll right now And I'm pretty sure I can improve my game and make a bunch of money in the near future...hopefully at NL25.
NL10 6max LEAK?
Roto, Aug 28 2008
16K Sample Size at NL10 6Max
My showdown winnings are $385
Profit is $143.75
Should my profit be greater than $385 :[ or at least close to it, how do other people compare that have played NL10 6max A LOT.
NL10 [Day 6]
Roto, Aug 27 2008
Really ugly graph today This is mostly because of two really badly played hands which lost a full buy in each, so if I played those hands better my profits for the day would be about 1.5x higher.
NL10 6max
Over the last 12k hands I'm running at just over 5bb/100, this could obviously be a lot higher without the spews. Tomorrow I'm going to try my best to lay down every hand that I KNOW should be folded, but I keep pressing call anyway -_-.
Past 6 Days
For some reason the graph says 5 days when it has really been 6, does anyone know how to fix this, it tilts me
GOAL: END the spews, once I do this simple(?) adjustment I am 100% sure my win rate will drastically improve.
NL10 [Day 5]
Roto, Aug 26 2008
Today I started out playing poorly, overnight I must have forgot there was a fold button. As soon as I started playing better, and taking a few beats, I started profiting.
I have to play a bunch for the rest of this month in order to keep my SilverStar status, I played NL2 and NL5 at the beginning of this month so it's gonna be close.
NL10 6max
My last blog post was Day 4, and there is no Day 1-3 , but I'll begin posting them in this format.
I'm going to try to post this every night that I am around, especially when I lose so I can critique myself.
NL10 Good Day
Roto, Aug 25 2008
NL10 6max was not very good to me last month and the beginning of this month when I started playing poker again. I realize that I have been spewing on way too many hands by not folding mediocre holdings such as top pair and over pairs, and have begun working on this. I just have to keep telling myself that there will be better spots to get my money in vs. all the clueless at NL10.
Today my cousin challenged me to make $2500 by Christmas, at NL10 this is two buyins per day, which I should easily be able to do if I play a lot. Maybe I'll try to get $5000 if I can beat NL25 for a decent rate just to prove him very wrong
NL10 6max Today
4.7 BB/100 Hands, which could have easily been higher if I played better. As long as I start pressing the fold button more often, It's impossible to lose vs. these people.
Started Again
Roto, Aug 18 2008
I stopped playing poker around New Years but recently started up again from the bottom. I stupidly cashed out my roll because I thought I was done with poker due to having no motivation to play and doing other stuff.
This time starting up I decided to take a try at 6max, because people say it's real poker ^_^. So far it's been going pretty well, and I'm ready to start NL10.
I know I have major leaks at 6max, but I don't really know what they are...which saddens me :[
NL2+NL5 6max
November Results/October Goals
Roto, Dec 01 2007
November profit = ~$175 (NL10)
Not quite close to my goals for the month but that is OK because I decided to begin playing cash again instead of SNGs.
My bankroll is around $765 and I will begin playing NL25 full ring. In November I easily got Silverstar for the first time, and I made my biggest MTT cash of $85
I'm not gonna post any graphs cause they aren't very pretty -_-
December Goals:
Break $1k by a good margin
Get GoldStar
Become a solid winner at NL25
Get my VPIP up to 15-16 ^_^ and PFR% up too
shouldn't be too difficult
+10 Buyins
Roto, Nov 09 2007
I just put in a two hour session at NL10, and pretty much ran like a god. I made $100 in 2 hours, 24 tabling. I was in shock as my opponents kept mucking their hands, while mine always held up. I even managed to suck out a couple people . This is probably the biggest heater I have ever had, I only got bad beated/coolered a couple times, and never lost a full buyin in a single hand.

I hope this happens more often
24 tabling ftw

November Goals
Roto, Oct 31 2007
In October I increased my bankroll by more than $300, mostly playing the 3.40 turbos.
My goal for November is to break $1500 in my account. I currently have $600 so I will only need to maintain $30/day. I am moving up to the 6.50s once my bankroll reaches $700.
I really need to start studying my own leaks, and use SNGPT to find and fix them.
Current Bankroll: $591.89
Goal: $1500
Unfortunately I don't think I have time to play enough, but I'll try my best to put in the SNGS. Hopefully moving up in stakes will increase my profits by a good margin.
October Results
Roto, Oct 31 2007
This month I decided to take a break from cash games, and try to learn SNGS. So far it's been going very well, as I doubled my bankroll in about 2 weeks. I've been playing the $3.40s on Pokerstars and I'll hopefully be at the $6.50s within the next week.
My brother also made about $70 bucks with the 100grand SAT STT turbos which is also included on the graph below.
I started playing the $3.40s at around game 215
