PowerHausAA grinding PLO

a while back sitngo and MTT tournaments were my bread and butter. i now rarely play tournament style poker but when i found out about possibly going to monte carlo i decided to throw some in during my sesions to sharpen up on tournament play

so ive been playing micro limits for the most part (1 dollar or less and up to 50 bucks).
had some varied results........for the most part accumulating chips wasnt so hard but staying focused for so long definitely was. going to keep going at it

had a win today not much nonetheless a win though


my mid game is struggling the most right now so going to try to balance the aggro nature of cash games and the survival mod of tourney play

back to plo 200 cant stand plo 100 on stars..........i cant describe in words how different the two levels are but all i know is i cant beat 100 on a consistent basis. plo 200 is just a totally different flow and for me at least is so much easier to play.

also been playing a bunch of micro tourneys to sharpen up and relearn some patience. i should be going to monte carlo (almost 80 percent sure) so i definitely want to sharpen my tourney play.

Hey is anyone going...........pokerstars says i cant sell the ticket so i guess ill go to MC instead of vegas, just gotta get my passport sorted out. hopefully i can get it in time

i have binghamton winning it all baby!

so been playing 40 dollar buy ins for PLO100.........i just need to pump these damn hands out

usually takes me 1 hour to do 1k vpp but now it takes like 1.5-2 hours (UGH!)

im just having no consistency at PLO 100 so im just playing flips all the time with short stacks. profits at cash games are just not there right now. its either down a little up a little over and over again and i feel like a pure bonus player now. im just not used to this as i had over 12 straight winning months at plo 200.

last 4 months have been horrendous and all my money is coming in from bonuses.


a few months back i posted a hand where i lay down nut flush and i got a lot of slack for it. i was supposed to get away from the one below but i didnt!

Hey thanks everyone for the support really helps when i hear words of encouragement......

so over the weekend i went back up to the old stomping grounds cuz Binghamton was on there way to making there first NCAA tournament bid and also cuz our yearly kegs n eggs party, which i havent been to in ages.

i had mixed feelings about going back since there were some really good and really bad times there.

so basically i got a ticket last minute and was able to go and it was pandemonium!


i love how the whole team had kids....first one is DJ Rivera, whole big controversy about his recruitment made front page of yahoo

well we play duke in the first round and were a 22 point underdog........just glad we made it in

so anyway im close to doing same exact thing i do last month with the 50k vpp thing. but im gonna bust my ass and try to bang out it out asap. just not in any kind of mood to play these days

put in a small session today......

im continuing to run the same way but oh well just gotta push through it

im just not getting it........every hand is so setup for me right now and every time i get it in something catastrophic happens!

i did exactly 50k no more no less....glad i get to keep my free month of doing nothing
