I lied...
  RAHZero, Jun 16 2007

Put in a very short session, 'bout to leave for that home game. Anyway, finished up like $360, ran sick hot at NL $400 and sick cold at NL $200. Nice milestone reached though:

Keep on rollin'
  RAHZero, Jun 16 2007

Another wild day yesterday. Almost all the profit was at NL $400, I ran at over 20 PTBB/100 in the 911 hands I played there, despite this hand, which is part of the terrible early downswing:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/213423

Still, I'm back into the green for the month at NL $400, which is nice. Made $100 in the 548 hands I played at NL $200 for the day shown below. Won a stack on the last hand I played when I picked up QQ UTG, got 3-bet, and turned a Q against AQ. Hated to hit and run, but I had a full day of work today, so I had to get to bed. Anyway, I'm probably not going to play any online poker tonight, I'm heading over to a friend's house to play a low stakes home game. Should be fun though. Yesterday's graph:

Two Weeks of June
  RAHZero, Jun 15 2007

Goddammit, I had a long ass entry written out and then it got deleted. Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day, up $1571 in a mix of NL $400 and $200, plus a shot at NL $600 in which I lost a big pot with JJ before winning a huge won here:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/212644

I was up like $2500 at one point though, before losing a huge pot with black AA when the board came out 4 diamonds. I was $1200 deep there against a huge fish, and lost about $600 on the hand. Kind of frustrating, but still a very good day.

My June so far:

According to my BR numbers, I'm actually up $10,254.1 from the tables so far in June. I've also earned another $1,600+ in rakeback and bonuses, so I've got a pretty good shot at making this a $25k or even a $30k month. I'm going to continue to play both NL $400 and $200, and going to try to practice some better table selection. I'll also take occasional shots at NL $600 when I find someone on my buddy-list playing there. Who knows, I might even take some shots at $1k NL before the month is out (I actually played like 25 hands there last month and made like $50). Life and poker are pretty good right now.

I no longer feel sick!
  RAHZero, Jun 14 2007

Another very solid day yesterday, my second $2k day ever:

Basically, I was playing pretty well at first, just my standard TAG game, a little on the tighter side. Then I hit a dry run of cards, took a few beats, and couldn't seem to win a hand, and I went into the red. I took a short break, came back, and really upped the aggression. I wasn't really playing a LAG game, but I was splashing around in a lot of pots, and abusing position to the fullest. I probably played like 23/17 or so over the last 3k or so hands.

A couple nice hands:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/212059
Guy had been mad aggressive lately, especially with the 3-bets. Felt I was ahead on the flop when he pushed, but still took me a while to actually pull the trigger.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/212062
Biggest pot of the night. When he potted the flop, I decided it was best to let him hang himself here, and sure enough, he did.

Not so fun:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/212063
Man, these guys fall for the minraise to induce a push like it's their job. Too bad my 97 to 3 edge can't hold up.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/212064
That AK of diamonds just can't hold up when it has a huge flop edge, huh? Better than 90 to 10 here.

All in all, a very awesome day. I really like the way I played from about hand 2k onwards, and definitely am going to keep adjusting my style. After the big day, I've fully recovered from my downswing on Monday, plus another $400 or so, and I got my May rakeback yesterday, so my BR is in great shape for another run at NL $400. I'll probably take some shots there today, then mix in more tables tomorrow.

Decent Recovery
  RAHZero, Jun 13 2007

Well, yesterday didn't quite erase the monstrosity that was my Monday, but it was a good start. Just played very, very solid poker back at NL $200, and made out well:

I really think I'm capable of a long-term winrate at NL $200 close to this as long as I play my A-game and don't do anything stupid. I managed this big night despite being bad beat on the river in two huge pots, both all-in on the turn with me as an overwhelming favorite.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/211435
Ugh. Misclicked PF, then didn't mind so much when I saw that beautiful flop. Matt almost never has KT on the turn, so that was pretty much an instacall.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/211437
This one if freaking ridiculous. Cold call my PF 3-bet with QTo, call my flop bet as a 90:10 dog, push the turn as a 70:30 dog, and profit? Oh well, guess that's what makes this game so profitable.

I feel sick...
  RAHZero, Jun 12 2007

So yesterday was my worst day ever by a wide margin. This is what happens when you get coolered and bad beat every hand at NL $400:

The damage was slightly less than this, by about $200 or so. Still too depressed to post any hands, but suffice it to say there were some good ones, like AA < K8s and QQ < T8s in 3-bet pots PF. Still, I'm up over $5k for the month already with RB and bonuses factored in, and even with a bunch of cashouts last month and this, my BR is in fine shape, and I'm due about $1k from last month's RB in the next couple days. So all in all, I'm still doing alright. I'm going to drop back down to NL $200 for a couple days to regroup, but I'm still confident that I can win at NL $400.

Short day...
  RAHZero, Jun 11 2007

Barely played yesterday, had a lot going on. Was finally a somewhat boring day poker-wise, still made a little over $250 in slightly more than an hour though:

Played a bit different game than usual, my stats were 24/17, though I was playing short-handed and even heads-up for quite a bit.

Not too much of note on the day, all pretty standard for the most part. For the month, I'm up a little over $8k at the tables, plus another $1k+ in bonuses and rakeback. All in all, it's been a great month so far, and it might get even better if I continue to run well at NL $400.

NL $400 = variance...
  RAHZero, Jun 10 2007

Put in a very short day yesterday, all but 300 or so hands of which at NL $400. I think I'm ready to move up, but there are almost never 9 good NL $400 tables at, so I'll still be playing a lot of NL $200. However, NL $400 is going to be swingy as hell, so I'll have to watch out for any big downswings. Yesterday's graph:

Another wild day!
  RAHZero, Jun 09 2007

Jesus, I never have a boring day, do I? Anyway, yesterday I decided to take some more shots at NL $400, so I was playing a pretty even mix of NL $200 and NL $400 tables. Got off to a very rough start, at one point during the horrific early downswing, my won $ at showdown was less than 30%. I seriously was making every second best hand possible, and every draw was hitting against me. However, as you can see from the graph below, things turned around quite a bit:

Hand 2900 or so was my new biggest pot ever. I'd been waiting to stack this donk for ages. He had just recently won a huge pot off ValueKill when he flopped a set, and of course got paid off because he was firing with air about 90% of the time. Here's are an earlier hand I played against him just to give you an idea:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/208969

Then came along this beauty:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/208972

I think I played this one pretty well. Obviously I'm not folding to the minraise PF, I'm calling and hoping to flop a set. The flop is perfect. Against a lot of players, this deep after being min 3-bet PF, I might play a little cautiously (though I'm still committing all my chips if push comes to shove), against this guy I'm just praying that he actually has something. I check-call the flop and check the turn to let him keep firing away with whatever he has. The turn decision after he bets again is the pivotal moment in the hand. He's shown a ton of strength, minreraising PF, then firing pot on the flop and turn, so even though he's crazy, there's a decent chance he actually has something. I can just call, and check the river, hoping the he'll fire again. However, if I do that, he may not bluff again on the river if he has air, and might even check behind some hands (like KQ or a weak ace) that I could get some more value out of. On the other hand, he may just shove the river if I call. If I raise, I can shove, in which case he'll probably only call with a big hand. I don't know too too much about his calling range, but he may even be able to fold his actual hand, AJ here. I opted to minraise in this spot, which is one of the few places I like to minraise - a huge pot is already built, and I want to get more chips in the pot without forcing out a marginal hand, and here a minraise also all but commits him to call a river shove.

So yeah, overall another very wild day, but one I need to get used to as I continue to play higher, where the games are more aggressive. I actually finished down for the day at NL $200, by $33, and after the upswing my W$@SD was right at 50%. And I also won two other $1k plus pots (both off the same guy), which are always nice:

Insane Day...
  RAHZero, Jun 07 2007

Today was one freaking ridiculous day. After today, I pretty much feel like I can take whatever poker throws at me. Without further ado, here's the graph:

Yeah, like I said, crazy. The initial downswing was just rough. Everything went wrong, I even tilted a bit (which I almost never do any more), and I was $1k in the hole. However, towards the end of my first session I managed to hit some hands and erase some of the losses. Then I came back, and all hell broke loose. As you can image, during that huge upswing, I built some ridiculous stacks. Like the one shown below, which is by far the most money I've ever had at one table:

Some crazy stuff went down at that table, including these three hands literally back to back to back:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/208160
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/208161
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/208162

So yeah, get it in twice as a huge favorite and once as a flop, and still end up down. But hey, that's poker, and I can't complain with all the luck I've gotten over the past couple days.
