Love this song. Original instrumental is possibly better, but its subjective. I feel the vocals add something to this track that makes it more polished.
So alot going on right now with my life. I am working sooo much at the moment in my audio engineering job. I am freelance now and it is brilliant. Being the summer, there is endless amount of work, and I am easily putting in 60-80 hour weeks. Money is decent, and I am really enjoying it, which is important! Also learning so much every day and gaining so much valuable experience. Very lucky to work for a top professional company that works with the very best engineers around.
Aside from that, me and the wife are looking to buy a house. Because I am freelance, and only started, it basically screws me over of any chance of getting a mortgage now. Instead all the banks require about 2 years of books. Therefore we are looking at a co-ownership scheme, so my wife would get the mortgage, and the government pays the other half, then couple years down line, when I have 2 years books, I can then buy out the rest of the mortgage. Thats the plan anyway. Going to view a few houses today and tomorrow. Really excited about one house which has been repossessed and is going for a ridiculously cheap price. It does need some work, ie new kitchen, bathroom and lots of paint. But I really am exited about that prospect of having my own house and doing all the things I want myself. Its quite motivating. Living in a rented house, you cannot do anything. There is no goals, like (this room needs decorating etc). Having your own house gives you more goals to strive too, and having goals is a good thing.
I also got a new macbook pro last week, which I desperately needed. I had no laptop for a very long time, and with the nature of my work, you really need a laptop. So I am in the process of sorting out alot of stuff in my house I do not need including old iMac and selling it off, to get some money back to pay off the laptop.
Apart from that, I have not touched Poker in a solid Month, if not more. I wish I could play, because I was winning at a good solid rate after changing sites, and was very much enjoying the game. But because my real life is so hectic, I just do not have the time to play with a focused mind. 28 hour days, then maybe Poker could fit in!
Highlight of the month - working at large festival in Ireland, was in dance arena, and I was doing Monitors (the mixes for the artists on stage) and we had dancers on stage. It was fucking awesome. Seriously hot chicks with next to nothing on, dancing around getting crowd going. I swear my mixing console had a lot of drool over it :D lol
Been so busy with my job. 18 hour days 5 days on the trot, is seriously tiring lol.
Anyway was Stage Tech for the biggest outdoor gig in Northern Ireland ever yesterday for Snow Patrol. The company I work for supplied all the PA for main stage and second stage, all the gear for support bands and lots of other various stuff needed at outdoor festival gigs. It was biggest gig I done now, we had a crowd of 40,000. Was pretty awesome experience. Was nice working with all the Snow Patrol techs and really great experience, that sets me up nicely for the summer festivals.

Poker wise, quit stars as i blew loads of my roll no MTTs that I was not rolled for. Changed to a new site, and I am grinding cash games only, and it is going decent. Hopefully play good volume this week, as I am doing a conference thing all week, so should have good bit of spare time to play
Got the new Faithless album, and it is really good. I must say, it has been a while since an album has came along and just picked me off my feet. One track on the album just blows me away every time, called "Flyin Hi". It is possibly the ultimate tune to listen to if you ever have been stoned in your life lol.

I was playing a long MTT session yesterday. It had been a so-so day, with one FT but no wins. I rather foolishly decided to play the $11 SCOOP at 1am GMT. Since i started grinding at 2pm i was being a bit over ambitious in thinking i could grind it out. At 1am i was feeling great. Playing good and really up for the long session. Then around 2:30am i was sooooo tired, couldn't keep my eyes open. So rather reluctantly I decided that I could not play any longer as there was no way I could last another 8 hours at least for FT.
So rather than just quit and fold out I thought I would have a bit of fun. I got some black tape and put it on my screen to cover my hole cards. Yeah. I was gonna play blind.I wanted to see how it would develop.
Before I hid my hole cards I had about 13k stack, with average stack of 19k. I actually did not think I was gonna last too long. My plan was just to play in position and use pure aggression to fold out hands. It was really quite interesting. I would give myself a range of cards that I believe the villain would put me on and go with that. Rather surprisingly I was running rampant lol. I managed to chip up to 30k stack, with average of 21k. I was then starting to think, hey maybe I should just keep playing. But nah I was super super tired, and It was just not worth it busting out in 100th for stupid amount of dollars. I lasted a bit longer, keeping up the aggression. I also discovered I had folded KK UTG. xD Anyway It came to an end about 45mins after playing blind, by getting called down. I had 3bet and was repping AK hand and he didn't buy it and called me down with TT. Doh!
It was fun and really interesting. Sometimes when playing MTTs it is so easy to go into a nit up mode. I think I will def try to be a bit more aggressive with a medium stack.
On another note, good luck for the SCOOP ME all LPers. I will be playing the Low.

Getting married in a few hours now! Kinda nervous but super excited for an awesome day. Just chilling here before we head to the venue. Kinda shitting myself about my Speech, but I am sure it will be all good and just work out!

Regarding Poker, nothing to special. 49th in Turbo Takedown last week, but other than that, i ran a whole weekend of MTTs with complete failure. Started grinding 45man sngs aswell for some profit. Early days, but looking good. Perhaps when I come back from my Honeymoon, I will be fresh and ready to run good!
