I think everything is going as planned.
I had a rough couple of weeks, but i think in the greater scheme of things, this is how its supposed to be. Everything happens for a reason.

So baseball is going great, i hit 90 mph last thursday. I think its looking like i'll be a starter, so i couldn't be happier. In other news, i got tickets to the Dallas Cowboys first ever game in their new $1.1 billion stadium. (pics in the spoiler, it was fucking awesome) The tickets were "party plaza", and it was fucking sweet. I took a girl i met to the game, we had a great time.

i am tearing it up here in NW oklahoma. I'm throwing really hard, probably the hardest i've thrown since 2006, my arm feels great, the coaches are impressed, i have a new-found desire to work my tail off even more than i have been, and i want to reach my goal of getting one of the three week-end starters on the pitching staff. (conference games, which are the only things that mean something are played on the weekends). I would happily accept a closer roll as well, (to me a closer has the same importance as a starter, however their importance in jam-packed into 1 inning). So everything is going great. Classes are easy, and i was prepared for a hella hard time b/c my classes are like this... Physics, Anatomy, Statistics, Psychology.
I'm also tearing it up in plo, which is good. No graphs b/c i play on cake

I'm moving to BFE tomorrow, going to a new school, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, or NWOSU. This is all because....................
my arm = ok!
The official diagnosis is a slipped bicep tendon, a torn pec muscle, and small fraying of the rotator cuff and labrum. (both not bad, and are normal when you've played baseball for 17 years).
So i'm moving tomorrow, going to live there for a while, meet some new peeps, not going to have a job so i'm going to have a loooooooooooot of time to work out and play pokerz and win teh monies.

tearing up PLO, up about 5 buyins this week which is good considering how little a get to play with 2 jobs and my workouts.
ARM UPDATE 2009.
So the doc called and explained what was wrong, which confused me b/c i didn't speak his language (the language of doctor). Basically, to my understanding he said..."We might need to go in there and clean some stuff up (scar tissue, etc))", then he said "but there isn't a tear in the labrum", and then said "continue everything like you normally do" wtf? so i need surgery, then nothings torn, then everything is fine?!?! but i gave the voicemail to my physical therapist and he said that what all the doctor lingo meant was that i actually have a small flare in my rotator cuff. So a small tear in the cuff...50/50 on whether i need surgery or not. My appointment with the surgeon is tomorrow at 8am. I'm set on not having surgery, so we'll see if he can convince me to have it, but to my understanding, if you take 50 MLB pitchers, 20 of them will have the same thing i have, a small tear in the rotator cuff, but as long as there is no pain, there is no need to fix it.
so go me.

I must be on casino owners red list or something b/c oddsmaker.com just gave me $100 to gamble on their site?!?! is this some crazy scam or something?? they have poker, a "casino", scratch offs, fantasy sports, sports bets...why haven't i done this/heard about it b4 and why did they give me 100 bucks!?!?
they also sent a poster of a hot chick.
