Well today was shit. Started off great again losing a buy-in AA vs QQ preflop. Tilt, bad played, and major suckouts were the story of my day. Flop set-->turn comes flush, what can ya do. Oh well, the donks will ship it all back eventually.

I ran good today and actually outplayed some people at NL50 (I am usually unsuccessful at this, people don't fold, but I managed to show some good victories with air). I also laid down tptk versus a huge donk, I'm finally getting it through my head.

I have class in a couple hours and probably am done playing today. Gotta watch my Hawkeyes play the Hoosiers at 6pm and then time to study after that. I may put in a session after studying because my goal was to get 1,000pts for UB's promo by Thursday (currently at 600). I will update if I grind out another session.

My Story: I'm 20 yrs. old attending a small college in Iowa. I'm in my 3rd year going for a Biology major and Psychology minor. I plan to attend grad school for physical therapy. I've been playing poker since Summer 2005 and became serious this past summer. I've been donking around at NL50 6max for quite some time now and finally decided to get serious and quit doing stupid things like tilting and fancy play syndrome. I cashed my bankroll down to 1,000 around Jan 6th to "start over." Since that time I have been doing quite well.

I'll probably enter almost daily an update of my progess towards moving up as well as rewarding myself. My plan is to move up to NL100 once I reach 3,000. I could move up sooner, but I really think I need to experience the next 1,500 to get there before I move up again. I have played quite a few hands at NL100, but suffered a -700 night in mid-December and that crushed my confidence and I realized I wasn't ready.
