July PLO Blogament
Bejamin1, Jul 29 2008
Well July has been my best month to date. I am crushing the game I 25PLO game I play in and will be moving up immediately after finishing getting my school money together. I took the plunge this summer to do poker as a summer job with the back-up plan of going back to my old job if things didn't go well. The place would instant-hire me at any point during the summer so I didn't have any concerns. In two straight months now I have not had a single losing day. Graph for this month below. I am currently only $300 away from having all the money I need for the school year saved up. Wish me luck.

Swong+Comeback
Bejamin1, Jul 11 2008
So I had AAxx All in as a huge favorite today 5 times and lost every single time. As a result I was pretty pissed and did not play my A-game for a reasonable amount of my session even though I still managed to fold the QQxx vs AAxx on an AQ2 board . Settled down in the afternoon and eventually managed to get a grip and find my A-Gear. The result is that I avoid my first losing day in 1 month, 10 days, and still counting.

Didn't play very well today, but can't stop laughing at how ugly this graph is.

June PLO Results
Bejamin1, Jun 30 2008
Won some money from grinding a bunch of tournaments here and there as well. All and all I am way too lazy is the only thing I really have to say about this month. I only put in 10k hands which is just pathetic. My goal for next month will be 100-150k hands and to become a solid reg at PLO50 FR/6-max. Right now for me playing PLO25 FR is like printing money so I feel very comfortable moving up. If anyone on here also plays PLO and doesn't already have my msn feel free to add me theomaholic@live.com and I have AIM as well just PM me with yours if you you want to discuss hands and such.

Omaha FT's #10 & 11
Bejamin1, Jun 20 2008
Nothing fun about either of these. I keep bubbling into 4th instead of getting into top 3 money. Unlucky of late unfortunately. Small tournaments since the Omaha MTT's don't fill up too well but hopefully they will slowly get more popular.

Close, but no Cigar
Bejamin1, Jun 06 2008
Played well and did what I could to chip up through the middle stage of the tournament. Had lost a 45/55 vs. a short-stack that would have taken me to 16k chips but instead crippled me to 6k on the final two tables. Got my last hand all-in vs. 3 limps who all called and barely missed flipping up to 20k. Managed to cash so its not a total loss but I hate to get so close and not FT the juicy re-buy tourney.

FT Bubble #2
Bejamin1, Jun 05 2008
Sickening bad run. Didn't make any mistakes this time just didn't have the puckluck go my way. Anyways some highlights. Took a 3-way all-in as a 60% favorite PF with 16 left, caught a monster 899 flop with AA9x double-suited vs two 4k stacks with my stack at 10k. Was up vs. 88xx (of course) for the short-stack, and 9QQx which runner, runnered the higher straight for the 3.5k side-pot. That crippled me down to 5.5k or so and I did what I could but it just didn't work out.

Omaha FT #9
Bejamin1, Jun 04 2008
Really disappointing result this time. Getting very good at chipping up through the final 18 down to 5 players. Did not play as well once it got down to the final 4 and played poorly to finish up in 4th. Played too AGG into stations because I didn't want the blinds to skyrocket, the result was not pretty.

Omaha FT #8
Bejamin1, Jun 03 2008
Finished up 4th in the $10 + R today for a semi-decent score. Not happy with it considering how heavy the prize pool is weight towards the top. Went out on a flip vs. the big-stack. At least I finally FT'd this tournament after bubbling in 11th and 10th respectively in my past two trips to the final two tables.
