Been running much better recently, since start of september ive been kinda crushing nl25 as opposed to a ridiculous breakeven stretch i had previously. Havn't changed my style of play at all and it is quite reassuring to get some profit since i was seriously doubting my ability towards the end of august.

But yea now the recent heater takes my BR over 1k (i cashed out all the tourny winnings to spend on a fun end of summer) and im ready to move up to nl50.

I've noticed my PFR% and VPIP diverge by quite a lot, almost 7%, this is because i've been calling in position a lot more, i think it's working fine and i don't see it as a problem since it disguises my flat calling range to regulars imo. A lot of players play like 18/17 and flat only pocket pairs so its hugely transparent what kind of hand they are going mad with on a dry flop and can make some pretty decent folds against them.

Going back to university on Tuesday, kinda cant b fucked to go back but oh well. I'll have fun.

So ya after breaking even at cash for like 1.5 months almost (didn't put many hands in, like 30k or something over them all) i finally am riding the heater again and i like it.

Sooo my last update was when i was in vegas but since then i just have done so much shit that i havn't been bothered to blog about it at all.

Went to Vegas for 2 weeks, was fun. Lost about $260 playing 1/2 at MGM mostly but im really happy since i ran so unreal bad that cutting my losses to just over a buyin is really nice. Vegas itself is really cool place and i definitely would like to go back there, would like to go with mates though since American girls seem to think i'm like way more attractive than i actually am just becuase of my accent so its total win.

Wont post many pics cos ive got too many and all up on Facebook (add me if u want, think i posted in the lp group).

After Vegas i got home and started playing some tournaments, and won my first ever big (big to me) score of $2.6k!


Which was nice since i was not able to get a summer job so i'd have been pretty much broke without this, since nl25 has been going relatively shit, much variance etc.

Recently in september its been going better so hopefully that will continue, graph is kinda ugh.



Also went to reading festival which was really good, rage against the machine were insanely good and i would have paid the full weekend price JUST to see them for sure.

Meh this was going to be a longer update but my vegas pics are too big for lp uploader so huge fuck dat, this will do.

So im in las vegas proper ballin' with my twin room shared with my 16 year old brother. Its alrite tho, dad paid for flight+room and all food etc comped by dad gG.

Went 6 hours clothes shoppin today got like loads of shizzle was fuckin safe, got some rental crystler (sp?) its pretty nice.

Gunna check out the strip myth says theres good 1/2 and 1/3 at the venetian/wynn so gunna try them out, my brothers got a fake i.d which is actually sick good, hes quite fat too so i reckon he cud get away with 21. We'll see anyway.

Sick if it works, i taught him the basics of poker and he crushes like 0.02/0.05, bet hes got an edge on some of the live games here even.

Good News: Flying out to vegas on thursday with dad+brother, shud be mad fun shippit

Bad News: Just got raped by nl25 in 15 minutes, -$110, 2 sets crushed in like 80 hands, totally ridiculous. Winrate cut in half over the last 8k hands in about 15 minutes, totally sick.

Started off playin a session in the evening, wow what a bad session. I seriously couldn't win a hand it was unreal, unless i got my money in with the absolute nuts they would find a way to suck out/cooler me. Dropped $-114, coulda been a lot worse but i think i played really well and handled my tilt nicely. Only one hand i think i shoulda played differently really meh.

Then played session #2 and it went okay, pretty slow and boring, ran bad again but not sooo bad. Ended up like +21 so that was coo.

Then session #3 was a lot better, started off 4 tabling whilst chatting shit about the nl25 players to midian, some really funny hands,then he went to bed and i opened up 2 more to finish the session 6 tabling. a couple of sick coolers and a suckout for stacks meant i didnt quite recoup all my losses. Ended up +83



So overall it was an almost breakeven day. I played an extra session which is good though too.

-$10 on the day.

Hopefully tomorrow goes betteeeeerrrrrrrrrrr, gl all

Right well basically i lost all appeal for poker for aaaaaaaages. Since my sicko downswing in like november ive barely even played.

Now however im back home from uni for 3 months and my dad is like you need a job blahblahblah and tbh hes right, im broke as fuck.

I figure though, i can earn as much from poker at nl25 as i could working a job, so what im intending to do while i search for other jobs is play 4 hours of poker a day, 2x 1000 hand sessions 6 tabling. Should work out decently, if i'm able to sustain this for a prolonged period (20k hands) im just gunna be like fuck it ill do this instead of getting a job.

So far so good anyway.

3 sessions done



BR at like 537 since i moved up pretty early, moved up at ~14 buyins for nl25, straight from nl5, skipped nl10 completely cos i hate that limit.

Keep getting into huge pots and losing them rofl, taking ridiculous amount of time to move up through.

Cant focus poker too much atm anyway, still 22bb/100 over 7.5k hands at nl2 ¬_¬,

Hopefully ill stop getting sucked out in 1000bb pots and my winrate can increase.

Warning: Whinepost INC

Well, ive been playing some nl5 the last few days, cos i cashed out a couple month ago, and have now been 12 tabling 6max, playing 16/12 or so, to rebuild.

And all im doing is losing masses. I'm down $80 at nl5, but its definitely not bad play.

Its pretty unreal how bad im running, i'm tempted to say "I'm glad im running like this at nl5 instead of when i get back higher" but i know very well it makes no fucking difference and tomorrow i have as much chance of continuing the bad run as anyone else.

Either way, 16 buyins is a fair bit, or well, im buying in for $10 so i guess its not really 16 buyins but it still sucks.

All my big hands are losing hands over the last 6k hands, AA KK QQ JJ TT most other pairs too, AK AQ AJ AT none of these hands are turning a profit lol. Pretty sick really. Its okay though im still rolled for it so no worries, but seriously if i dont start running good soon im actually going to go bust, for the first time ever. Technically following a decent bankroll management i "cant" go bust, but i will if this keeps up, itll just take a long time. Dunno really when i shud move down either, i guess at like $50 or something.

Either way, over the last couple days ive taken the most ridiculous amount of beats, i tilted some at the start but theres just too many, i'm beyond tilt now. I just get my money in ahead and see the gutshot hit in a RR pot and think "standard". I guess thats good.

This is becoming a big big whine so dunno wtf. O well.
