Very pleasing month, didn't put in the volume (a lot of HU) but did do some good smashing. Best month to date, which is pretty sweet seeing how this was at NL1.
I joined the badminton school team at NTUST, the college I'm going to in Taipei, so that's definitely good.
Put in a good amount of volume and ran decently. Nothing amazing, but a nice stable, satisfactory month.
Since I moved to Taipei, I haven't played much badminton, but hope to correct that in the coming months. Gained some weight (71kg -> 80kg) and will trim that down!
BR is now at 3700 after unlocking the Christmas Bonus that was the prelude to my rondo of bustruction. Will probably shot NL2 at 4200.
I've been back in New Hampshire since January 24th for Chinese New Year winter break - it's been pretty fun. I'm trying to get a Nintendo Wii, but it seems impossible to get in stores. I've called BestBuy/CircuitCity/EB/Walmart etc, with no luck. I go back to Taiwan February 17, so just another beat that SSBB has had its release date pushed back.
Since nobody plays badminton in the east coast except for weird Chinese / Indian FOBs here, I've definitely missed playing. To make matters worse, I'm suffering from planar fasciitis (heel spur), making walking painful. The condition hasn't improved at all, so I'll have to see a doctor -_-
since I'm in Taiwan, with a Statistics test tomorrow...
It sucks, the only Christmas spirit here is the marketing advertisers use to boost sales. Being single during Christmas / New Year is pretty terrible. College semesters here end around January 13 for Chinese New Year, so it means that final exams are just in a few weeks...ahhh
But don't mind me - hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year!
Here are the PT stats from this laptop. I definitely ran over expectation with the NL2 6max, but the HU is definitely sustainable (6-7bb/100 is achievable).
I received a couple inquiries about lessons - I will be offering coaching ($40/hour on FTP, $40.50 on Stars [serious]) until I am back at NL100, and then stop (unless demand remains high).

Moloch (ipokeder) has told me that he is willing to offer lessons at $200+/hr (negotiable), agreeing to give half of all of his profits to help me rebuild my roll. He is a very good 6-max/heads up player, so this is geared toward the higher stake (400NL+) players.
Narious just staked me to play NL25, so I'll be able to at least unlock my Christmas Bonus @_@.
I also want to offer lessons, particularly in heads up. I am a solid winner at the NL2 and NL4 HU games over a large sample size (will put up graphs later). I will be doing this at $40/hour, which I think is Floofy cheap. I do need to rebuild and I haven't taught many LPers.
