The corporation

"The Contagion" sucked ass - please save your time/money, i wont even try to explain why
Im downloading "eaters" by uwe boll (horror director) will update later if its good
Also watching "path to 9/11" after
Bought a 43inch Samsung Plasma so I'll be having fun watching movies and tv from now on
I dont like it. I'll play very tight, exploitable and occassionally spazz out in spots for enjoyments sake. My life sucks a bit at the moment but I have to do this while waiting for my property to get sold and get me out of this poker-for-money lifestyle mindfuck. I'm done trying to improve and it seems there are lots of retards like me who won't quit the game for whatever reason so that's always a good source of money to even out vs the good regs who are too chickenshit to move up.
Here's some stuff I watched over the week - all of em are good to watch...
donkey kong world champs take it a bit too far...
prince valiant-looking guy who's passion is saving bears, the guy goes kinda insane towards the end and he got his gf and him eaten by bears for it...
nice movie by kevin smith
then joe rogan has kevin smith on his podcast - one of the best so far 3 hours plus
Anything Lpers could recommend would be appreciated
will post a couple non-documentaries ive watched so far, there's been nothing but garbage for the past months so its been quite dry.
Warring traveller families (similar to "snatch) settle disputes by a bare knuckle fist fight over decades
Story of Troy Duffy (director of the cult movie "the boondock saints"), his (almost) rise and fall to fame, as Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein builds him up as this brilliant scriptwriter who's just an ordinary bartender, then decides to drop him and umake him as he realizes the guy is kind of an egomaniac/asshole. Instance of sick tilt for sure
Story of the Paskowitz family, surfings 1st family, and how a Doctor drops his practice and decides to live a very simple surfing life and raising his kids according to his very unconventional beliefs
Been consistently listening(and downloading old ones) to these podcasts by Joe Rogan and his friends and it seems like a pretty good balance between intelligent, informative conversations with your buddies and just the right amount of retarded bullshit to make it light. He's a huge proponent of weed and psychedelics but he doesn't preach it all the time. I definitely recommend downloading everything in the archive and I tried listening to it while jogging or driving and it's also great for that too.
Still downloading these two movies, but both look pretty good so far and with the absolute crap thats out there for the past months these two are probably the best you can watch and download
After Shock - (to be updated)looks very interesting
Kidnapped - (still downloading)foreign movie about kidnapping
bas ruten should've picked up two broomsticks and did this to those bouncers...badass arnis skillz
One of the driest months in terms of good movies to watch or download, was very frustrating to dl and see all the shit that's out there. It seems it only takes an HD cam and a couple of delusional idiots to make a movie and upload it to torrents nowadays - but some of those nigerian flicks are pretty lol. No hidden gems for the past month so I was pretty sad. Ironclad is the only one that has my superb approval
Ironclad (Paul Giamatti, some other good actors) Torrent
- story of a bunch of guys who hold fort to prevent the ousted king from retaking his throne after being overthrown by the nobles, king hires some viking or germanic tribe to do this in return he promises them that the Catholic church and the knights tempar leaves their lands alone. Pretty decent for non-theatrical release, think braveheart meets 300.
Harry Potter and the deathly hallows 2 Theaters
- pretty good movie, if you like the book, you'll appreciate how the movie was made inspite of some lazy mistakes in the end. How can you go wrong when two wizard armies and mythical creatures go at it in the end and the two wizard bosses have a final confrontation after almost 10 years of watching this shit. All I can say is that snape is the man. If you're not a huge fan of the book like me, you'll still find this one worth a watch.
Transformers Theaters
- Watch this movie just because you want to say goodbye to the whole series. Im so sick and tired of robots fighting and rightfully so this one sucked ass, still how much you pay for the ticket is worth the effects spent on this turkey. I miss megan fox too
Wrecked(guy from the pianist)
- memento wannabe when a guy wakes up in a wrecked car in the middle of nowhere, has memory loss and tries to retrace his steps to figure shit out, deals with adversity doing it (broken leg plus cougars and shit). Obviously this is worth watching by the acting alone.
I've seen so many guys who were practitioners of karate, taekwondo, jujitsu, boxing, judo get owned against an untrained opponent in bar, school and street fights. Seems to me the most composed fighters, whatever the discipline, come out on top more often than not. In general though I've witnessed guys primarily trained in karate(shotokan, mudokwan, tangsudo, etc) and taekwondo get raped the most in a fistfight, and guys who just "know" boxing or are good in Judo pretty much pwn. I'm not talking about random 4 punch club or street affairs where the other guy either gets KO'ed right away or fight gets broken up prematurely (gay obv), I'm talking about full-blown fights that followed thru till the end where one guy was left standing or obviously in a very dominant position (mounted, raining down punches or other guy's legs totally gone running purely on "intent" to fight)
With the advent of MMA and the seemingly adverse effect is has on the fun of fighting(or watching fights) in public is that you never really know if the guy has some MMA background (chances are he knows some). It's like partypoker then uigea/cardrunners, RL fight fish then MMA/UFC.
I dont see where I'm going with this(lol) but I'd like to hear other guys views on what they think are the most useful things disciplines that are really useful IRL self-defense. I watch youtube vids and it seems the other guy always throws these super-telegraphed kicks/punches or idiotic wide open strikes just to make the whole thing look good. Imo boxing and/or jujitsu would be it, I've seen good boxing training IRL being used and I can attest to its effectivity, with Jujitsu though, I think its pretty clear that long fights will always go to the ground eventualy so its pretty self explanatory.
