remotivated...
  TheTank, Dec 30 2008

so i cashed out all the money i initially put in ($175) on both my sites... so now i am playing with only profits.

which is like $18 bucks on cake and $21 on pstars.

=/

BUT...after reading about SAKISAKI's win and FRINKx's year, i have been remotivated to grind it out. The sky is the limit. I want to be a tournament player, and to do that, i have to have the br to support it. time to grind 4nl on cake and 2nl on pstars. (btw i had a profit of 720, but blew most of it, which is why i needed to be remotivated)

Going to make it happen baby.

I've been running REALLY REALLY bad in life lately. this is just one of the things that makes me want to jump off a cliff...
i could have been having some sex with this (see below) when i was like 15-16 yrs old in high school, but i didn't b/c when we were getting to know each other, i was like "so what do you do for fun?" and she said "i like to take my shirt off and walk around the mall to see peoples reactions. I've gone to jail for this twice"...
wtf. so her weird fetish with getting naked and running around the mall was a turn off at the young age of 15...but here she is now...

d4 - brm wow.
  TheTank, Dec 03 2008

so i learned all about br management today. in a few quick hands (with a starting br of around 325) i played out of my limit. very quickly i played well and got beat w/ set over set, and twice people leading OOP with flush draws and hitting.

d4 session 4, 4 weeks poker experience
br = 222.55
moving down to 20nl.

  TheTank, Nov 24 2008

d3 25k ch br 327.66

had a good day after tilt'ing into a tournament and placing 3rd in the 1.5k guarantee scoring 150 bucks, i went to the 100nl table, and left with $298.
not bad for only playing for 3 weeks i would say
ez life.

what started as a terrible day turned into a pleasant one. i started off by losing 40 on my cake account, took a break, then lost 25 on my pstars account, bringing me to just under what i started off with. however things changed while i tilted into some tournaments. on stars i played in two, out within the first 5 people on both of them...45 person and 27 person. then on cake i registered late for a 6 dollar 1.5k guaranteed tournament, with 1st taking 270 bucks. i got 3rd out of about 330 for 130, which i am pleased with. along with bounty it totaled around 150 bucks.

d2 25k ch cake=186.13 pstars=23.73

long time reader, first time poster. i am excited to say that i am following neilly's idea of the 25k challenge. i have been learning how to play by reading a bunch of books, and studying hands and such online. however i never played until this past week. because i am very busy, i won't be posting a day 1/2/3 everyday, but everyday i play. so sometime next week will be day2, if anyone is interested. i started out depositing 25 dollars on pokerstars.
so far i've only played for an hour and doubled my br. it seems easy.
