$100 FTP to Stars by ericli2792, February 08

I need some way to put money back into stars because for some reason the state i live in does not allow me to deposit on stars. I'm willing to do small amounts with me first if you are reputable.

today good by Helmet, February 07

i move up to 50nl plo so i can acheive my ambition of reaching the 1/2 plo level earlier. i have win a little bit only but happy.

and then i look at boobs thread here at the liquid poker. wow! some of them are only 16 years old in my eyes. so now that i am finished playing poker, i do not know what to do. maybe i will play again some more poker.

also can anyone recommend a plo book? the sam farha style is not working at 50nl plo.

i thank you

Good times by DustySwedeDude, February 07

My friend Patrik who just took his law degree and started working a couple of weeks ago was back in the city this weekend. He, my other friend Ramin and another guy named Erik decided that we'd get some drinking done. Patrik and I got started with a few bottles of wine and a bunch of beers fairly early and later Erik and Ramin joined up for a couple of burgers and yet another bottle of wine (or maybe 3).

We laughed, we drank and we listed to music. We went to a bar and had a few drinks and then to another bar when the first one closed. At some point I got very drunk and decided to take a walk home. When I got to bed, like 3 am in the morning, Patrik calls and asks me where I am and if he can sleep at my place. I say that that's cool and that he can just call me when he's at the door.

The problem is that by now I've undressed. When he calls I'm drunk as hell and in only underwear and I decide that "fuck it, I can open the door like this". Mostly because I can't be bothered to locate pants. This would've worked out fine if it wasn't for the fact that a young couple also was at the front door of the apartment complex. They seemed slightly bothered by the sight of a half naked dude twice their size who tried to open the door, drunk as hell. Patrik laughed his ass off.

Other then that poker is going decent, BJJ ok and except for the fact that I've been eating badly the last few days I'd have to say that I'm very happy with how February has started.

A little peak in my mind by Mariuslol, February 07

Today I decided to clean up some of the clutter around my pc, half of the notes I found un-interesting and just threw them away. The other half was about poker, the rest I wrote down on a notepad. It was used to give me impulses, or things for me to study at a later time so I wouldn't forget it. Things I pick up reading books, watching clips or things I got from just talking to people.

Thought I might share <3

- If you're not having fun, not worth doing
* Being successful doesn't make you manage your time well. Managing your time well makes you successful.
* Goals, priority, planning, fuck doing things right, do the right thing
* 100 things to do in life, only do things on your list

- Sound healing
* Music is good for you, especially if made with love.
* Listen conciously
* Create sound, speak, sing, playing

- Buy a deck of cards
* How to draw
* How to paint

- The first step is a big one

If you can dream it, you can do it.
* Use to do list, always do the ugly first
* Find your creative times and your dead times. Do boring/rep. or easy things in your weak times
*Time journal? See how you spend your time
* The time famine, bad time management = stress

- Exfoliate
* wash, good cleanser
* Rinse, remove all excess
* Moisture, condition
* Keep clean. Don't touch face with hands

- How to read women's body language for flirting
- How to live in the moment
- How to get selfesteem
- How to be enthusiastic
- How to communicate
- How to talk (rofl)

Pretty is something you can see. Pretty is temporal. The beautiest things in the world is something you can feel. Beauty is eternal. Moral, Values, Personality.

- If things ain't going that well, np, means you're learning a lot, and they will go better later.
- Power of dreams, gives us the first step.

- How to impress a woman you're with (ps, this is not on how to get a woman, if you try any of this, chances are it will fail pretty bad. What a woman is attracted to, and what she wants in a man are two completly different things, even though they'll never admit to that.)
* Surprise her
* Call her
* Give her compliments
* Take her out to dine
* Shop with her
* Laugh with her
* Cry with her
* Give her stuff
* Tickle her
* Buy her flowers
* Write her love letters
* Listen to her

- Things that bring more happiness in your life
* Start giving
* Give out thanks, for all they've contributed to your life
* Appreciate
* Read to a child
* Say yes a lot more than you say no

- It's much easier to become interested in others than it is to convince others to be interested in you.
* Make sure to pause. (Let people come with stuff.)

- Boredome, other side of creativity, oposite of Yin. Everything is Yin and Yang. If you understand that you really don't have to understand anything else.

- The second you don't love someone, they own you.
- Key ingredients to life, true happiness.
- Awesome shield to have around you.

Fellatio = oralsex

Best attributes to have as a man:
* Sincerity, heartiness, candor
* Humility, meekness
* Restraint
* Honesty

- Negative thoughts can tell us about something that needs attention.
* See negative occurences as a learning experience

- Person means mask
* You won't wake up until you feel you've payed a price for it.
* Guilt, anxiety, game you keep playing. (Because we think we deserve it).
We invent tests for ourselves.
* Don't go to a shrink
* You're the problem
- Do you define yourself as a victim of the world.... Or the world?
- Money, we get it backwards

- Everything in your life is there because of the choices you make.
* Unsuccessful people hope. Successful people decide.

- Make sure not to turn the pc on first thing in the morning, do some reading, get some air, do something else as a ritual.
- You can create any change in your life through the choices you make <3

- What would you do if money were no object?
* Better to have a short life doing what you like, than a long miserable life doing what you hate.

posting from laptop so not sure of exact stats, but I got about $2500 in January with a large chunk from clearing bonuses. will update later when I get home. um I haven't played since like Jan 20th, lost my fire I guess due to resubbing to World of Warcraft.

also school has started again and I have very little idea of what's happening in most of my classes. need to get back to poker soon!

Losing at 10nl by Palinka, February 07

Hello LP! Its my first blog here, I restarted playing poker this year after a 2year break. I used to be a 25nl/50nl reg but I have been having trouble since returning to poker. It obviously has got a harder game but I was wondering if you could take a look at my graph/stats to see if I have any huge notable leaks. I am too loose? Or losing too much at showdown?

I feel that I have been running very bad at 10nl but I hate this as an excuse and want to improve where iam falling behind. Volume is quite low understandable but I keep having to move down to keep to my BRM plan.

Who wants to steaks? by Carthac, February 07

http://2pep.com/funny%20pics/super%20...%20pictures%20of_nomnom_cat_steak.jpg

I think title should be that I am looking to sell 50% of my action, but steaks sounds cooler. Playing in 5 different tourneys next week at a local live casino I frequent, and the cost is around 410 total. I can afford this myself, but I do not want to dip as far into my spending money (my poker money is seperate)

The calendar for the tournaments can be found at the bottom of this page

http://www.palacasino.com/casino/poker/promotions/

I will be playing in 5 tournaments. 4 will be 70 dollar entry FR NLH events, and one will be a $130 6 max NLH event. I am looking to sell 50% of my action in each tournament. I play at this casino fairly frequently when they hold decently structured tournaments, and I cash in a little over 33% of them from what I can estimate(they almost always end up chopping when the blinds get too big). I have gotten to know many of the people that frequent the poker room. These tourneys are sure to be VERY soft, and I feel my edge is significant. The typical turnout of last year when they held this event was around 7-8 tables (10 players per table at this particular casino). I will be prepared to phone you of the size of the room beforehand and ask if you are still interested if you feel the size of the field is not warranted enough to your risk, as from what I can see they do not have guarantees on any of the tournaments except for the main.

I'm currently in the transition from NL25 to NL50. Here is a graph from my last month of play

http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/6291/amountwoninusdoverhands.png

If you would me to answer any questions, feel free to PM me or ask in this thread. Forgive me if I have missed anything blatantly obvious about staking, but I have never done this before

Hope to hear from some of you!

Edit: more long term results

OK so I started playing and I only played 6 games

2 18-man sng
2 27-man sng
1 180-man sng
1 9-man sng

I'm still trying to master ICM which is getting a bit easier after someone explained how he does it, but requires practice.

In the 18 man sng I was able to get 4th and 2nd place. 4th place finish was a bit fencey mistake. Had 88 and shoved over a raise thinking it was a blind steal but the other guy had KK. In the 2nd place I got sucked out 88 vs 87.

In the 27 man sng I finished pretty far from the money primarily because of suck outs and needed shoves losing to a caller.

In the 180 man sng I got all the way up to final 45, but then ran into a situation of all in with AK, AK, JJ and the JJ won. A bit unlucky to be in that spot but ok.
