I saw Arlo Guthrie live a few days ago. The guy is fucking awesome. He's funny as hell and he can sing a whole bunch of different things really good.

i recall the name guthrie coming up in bob dylan's biography. was this guy dylan's mentor or something?

Nah, but his dad "Woody" wrote "this land" and I think they hung out quite a bit.
