Restarting Poker

So I quit Poker 3 years ago and I am trying to restart now.

I won about 3k at NL25 in my active times and would like to get there again. So I deposited 100$ and started with 8 tables NL10 and it's a totally different gameplay than 4 years ago... There aren't as much weak people to pay me off and everyone seems to be tight waiting for the nuts. Played 8K hands now with pokertracker and I'm still at 100$. This is really pissing me off, cause I was a winning player at NL25... Anyway, can you tell me how Poker changed in the last few years? How can I adapt my game to it? I'm willing to learn from you guys.

Since NL seems to be much tougher than years ago I think about giving PL Omaha a shot, but I don't know anything about this game. I've seen that good Omaha players have winrates of about 20BB/100, while great NL players have like 4BB/100. My theory is that Omaha is way harder to play, because there are much more of mathematics to know --> More people who don't know about this and pay you off great. Is this true? If you master most of the Omaha stuff, can you win more money than in NLholdem?

Thanks for helping me and plz don't tell me that I need more buyins for playing NL10 :D

1) if you were a nl 25 winner 4 years ago , you probably breakeven at best nl 10 nowadays
2) you need more buy in to play nl 10
3) you should play nl2
4) you need more buy in to play nl 10
5) plo has better winrate but huge swing
6) you need more buy in to play nl 10

This is pretty accurate. It's especially true for those learning the game.

The rake is 9-11pt/bb per 100 hands so you're looking at 18-22bb/100 rake. Keep that in mind. You have to be a huge winner to get anywhere in PLO at low stakes.

Why is the rake higher at Omaha? Ist seems to be the same percentage of money taken from every pot as Hold'em. And what means "buying 5 million hands"?

Bigger pots in omaha. Buy 3 million hands from pokertableratings and put it in your hud.
The plo games are definitely better it's like NL has been taken over by a bunch of tagbots it's hard to get good tables the waiting lists are long what I do now is just trying to start tables instead. In plo there are not as many players but always easy to get good tables but the game is brutal and so is the rake.

Buying hands this way is definately not allowed at pokerstars...

What are these tagbots?

Anyone can teach me the basics of Omaha? Really need to know about hand strenght
