dominant species

Random thought: The only way for dominant species to exist is to have intelligence. Otherwise they will overmultiply, consume everything and die out. There is no other way. Like a virus that kills its host also dies. So we have a chance. We can come up with ways to be sustainable, farming and shit. GLHF.

So these are obviously dominant asses. They probably dominate many mens' minds. Hopefully they will never die out ^^.

Pokerwise i didnt play very much at all, im still at 1k, really bored with NL, probably played like less than 2k hands in feb. Trying some PLOL without hem or any software. Probably better to improve in the long run anwyay. Been playing heaps League of legends. Jax ftw.

by the way my touchapd went back to work normal just by itself. Aliens imo

I would be a lot more interested in these pictures if you took them yourself

I love the pictures but your thought is incorrect. Dinosaurs ruled the earth for a very long time. Size and the desire to eat everything around you will counter intelligence, but will remain balanced by different species not eating meat and avoiding being eaten

nah if they were really dominant they would eat everything around them and overmultiply such that there would not be any more food. There must have been a balance, unless thats what happened and they died out lol. Plus how can you say they ruled were you around back then? There were many types of dinosaurs meat eaters and vegos as well.

And by saying they ruled the earth is probably incorrect, its just like saying sharks rule the seaworld, but they do not. There is a balance in the sea.

There was an occurrence when deer or some similar animal got onto an island without natural predators, they multiplied very fast and ate everything around them, then they all died out very quickly.

You're talking about Malthusianism.

It has to do with predation and natural population control.

Basically - all species (providing they have an abundance of resources and no predators or other restrains) will continue to multiply until they reach the 'carrying capacity' limit. Once this limit is met, population growth will stagnate, and in organisms that have explosive growth (lots of insects, some mammals, etc. etc.), they will have completely exhausted the resources and will die off at an extraordinary rate as they can't sustain themselves at all.

Basically, humans work on the 's-curve' population control mechanism, whereas some other organisms work on the j-curve model.
