going to be in vegas for a few days, looking for food recommendations. mostly looking for places that are like <$30/person but if you feel strongly about some place that's a little over that go ahead and tell me. i like pretty much all kinds of food.
right now all i know is that i'm going to Bouchon just to try the chicken and waffles everyone raves about. i'm sure i'll go to chinatown at some point so any suggestions for there would be great. i've heard lots of great things about lotus of siam but also some mixed reviews and i think it's a bit out of the way?
anyway, appreciate any suggestions!

Filet mignon at the Stratosphere was sick good, best meal I had there 2 years ago, was there almost 6 weeks, ate all over the place.
Not sure what it's called, but a very short drive outside of the strip, there is this "new" area with shops, resturants, seem pretty high class, but still cheap, a lot of good resturants there, just can't remember the name of the area, but im sure someone can say in this thread lol. |

-pho kim long on spring mountain is pretty good vietnamese and open late.
-archies thai bistro is decent, kinda far from the strip, i think its on flamingo and torrey pines but not positive
-hash house a gogo, decent breakfast all day type place. i think its on sahara/torrey pines but not sure on that. most people love it, im not a huge fan but its a cool place to go
-the station casinos (owned by the fertitta brothers) are pretty cheap and a few of them have good oyster bars. the sunset station a bit south of vegas is really good.
-two best sushi places in vegas are naked fish and sen of japan both are a little more pricey than 30 a person depending what you order, but are way cheaper than the expensive sushi places in casinos like sushi roku, nobu, etc
and my favorite place to go is this little strip of restaurants on paradise between flamingo and sands. there is a firefly, a ruth chris, a malaysian food place and a japanese hibachi place musashi. check that out, its really close to the wynn
if you dont have a car then a few of these places are kinda far away. so in that case just check out musashi, firefly, malaysian and pho kim long as they are close to all the hotels youd be staying at |

Yea, I've been out here for about 3 months now and Lotus of Siam is the best Thai food I've had in Vegas and definitely a huge bang for your buck.
I've yet to visit Honey Pig but I heard a lot of good things about them from my housemate. He says that's where a lot of Chefs go to when they visit Vegas.
Monta Japanese Noodle House (Ramen) in Chinatown is also great with entrees under <10$
Musashi Japanese Steak House is close to the strip and has great presentation but you can definitely go over your budget there.
Bachi Burger is far off the strip but definitely has great burgers and very unique Asian style stuff. Their fries are great also. Definitely worth a visit imo.
Cant think of anywhere else atm but Vegas has ton of great food. |

i didn't like Honey Pig as far as korean food goes and i strongly recommend against it. otherwise i am in support of all the recommendations here, except Texas de Brazil, while a decent meal, is extremely overpriced. |

one of my relatives has a 2 bedroom timeshare there, some conflict came up at the last minute so they can't make it for their week (9th-16th), they said if anyone wants it they can take it so me and my sister decided to go lol. plane tickets ended up being like 5x what they were last time though T_T |
