Scared of most other producers than Blizzard lol. When I tried Rift, I stopped after 2 weeks, but they kept billing for a year, I tried contacting support, on the forum, asked if my bank could stop it, not till I got the clever idea of "losing" my credit card did I get em to stop taking monthly fee's lol.

I dont see the problem here. It's a user review. How much will that mean really? Would be different if he was writing for the biggest game magazine or something |

Do you really think its an acceptable practice?
If you paid $100 for a game that turned out to be complete shit but had artificially bloated scores/reviews you might feel differently. |

meh - in reality I put much more weight on user reviews made by peolpe like me, than possibly-paid-for-review by some stakeholders

this
and it appears to me that this guy's review was showing up as the top user review, at a 10/10 score, when the average score is 4.2/10, what's up with that?
though, checking the site now it doesn't appear as the top review (though it still exists if you search for the guy's profile)
http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/dragon-age-ii
it is the top rated 'most helpful' positive review if you click "show me positive reviews"

Yes, but isnt it more the aggreate of user reviews that are interesting. Do you look at one single one and go from there, when the rest is giving 3x times lower scores? |
