No wonder people like Romney have a chance of becoming president of our country. Parents in the documentary trying to convince their children that global warming is not real. I don't even know why I'm watching this one, I just like watching documentaries on hulu, youtube, etc.

The disturbing part is watching how their children are hysterically emotional at like 6 years of age of religious shit, crying while praising jesus and all that. No child at this age should be so worked up over something so stupid. They're just born into pure trance mode. |

This documentary is quite disturbing. I could relate to parts of it because my parents were about 1/2 as bad as the people shown on this film when I was growing up (which is pretty bad). Luckily they have since grown away from the strict hardcore fundamentalist path. One time they made me go to a "Jesus Camp" of sorts and I stayed 1 day there before refusing to participate and begging to be sent home. Luckily my parents were kind enough to pick me up that evening and never made me go back. |

i really don't think this documentary is nearly as relevant today as when it came out- the peak of the religious right was 2006. This doc kinda pisses me off altogether because it makes people panic in regards to christian indoctrination. Shifts in political recourse as shown in the doc are way over blown. It's a tad bit scary to think that there are retarded people out there that think a fascist christian movement is good, but it's not anywhere close to the norm, nor is it really worth reporting about. This doc is michael moore type left-wing bullshit meant to scare the shit out of people. |
