Simple question: What's the difference between college and university?
In Poland you're 19 after finishing high school. Then you go to university for 5 years (you can end your education after 3 years with a Bachelor's Degree, 3.5 years with an Engineer's Degree (technical specialization) or go all the way for a Master's Degree).
What's it like in the US?

I think college and university are interchangable terms here. We finish high school when we're 18 and go to college/university for 4 years to get a BS/BA/etc. After that we can apply to grad school to get a masters, phd, md, blablabl.
Masters usually take 1 extra year. Med school takes 4 + residency + fellowship + blablabla).

They do cost money but they can be found for free if you are good at googling.. Not that I would ever condone such a thing..
