I'm messing around with play money games as of late since stars and FT are still in limbo with legal shit... anyway... thought I'd go ahead and tell you about this hand and be lazy and not import it since I'm at work.

Pot limit game, I get dealt QQ... raise... get called by a few

Flop comes and it's got a Q, raise again, get called by 1 guy

Turn and river come and I can't think of any cards this guy could be holding to beat me (since I was sure my raises got rid of any long shot straight draws)

Take him all in, we flip em... son of a bitch had A-3 off and made a straight on the river

Luckily it was just play money so I didn't really rage that much but I was still wtf-ing.

Well... Maybe he didn't think of any reason to fold because in play money games every street is for free, I doubt many people fold gutshots.

Yeah I guess since play money is play money then who cares... I remember when I was younger playing freeplay tournaments on FT and in a 2k person tournament at least 1 person per table would go all in first hand regardless of what they had...

I don't exactly know how the situation in the US is but maybe you should just deposit like 25$ onto merge or whatever works for americans and play the smallest stake possible (NL4?). I believe it should be a lot more fun than play money and basically free anyway.

If you get angry at getting drawn out in a play money game, I don't think real money games would be for you...

Didn't really get angry, since it didn't matter for anything. Just a very weird play, probably due to the fact that he was thinking the same thing - that is, "doesn't matter, I'll go all in here".

Angry enough to make a blog about it... have you ever played poker before? Weird play is more the norm than normal play in a play-money game .
