question for US citizens |
|
1 | |
Hey Guys, I have a short question due to my trip to USA within next 3 weeks. Mostly i`ll be working over there, and traveling a lot, so just free weekends i guess. Can anyone give me a tip on good poker rooms/casinos - locations are New Orleans, Atlanta, and Cincinnati so far ( tournaments oriented - not a fan of cash games, but will do as well). Appreciate any help.

I am from Cincinnati. Your best bet for poker here is in Indiana at the Hollywood Casino, it is 15-30 minutes depending on where at in Cincy. They run daily tournaments at 11:15 AM and 7:15 PM EST. Wednesday evening and Sunday morning they have $150, $10,000 guaranteed tournaments. These two offer the best structure, but none are particularly bad. There are a lot of regs, but the games are pretty soft.

Only other 2 casinos nearby are a bit farther in Indiana. Rising Star doesn't have a poker room and the Belterra has a limited one that is closed Mon-Wed. They recently passed legislation in Ohio and are building a casino in downtown Cincinnati but it won't be open for another year or so. Any more questions feel free to PM me, good luck and have fun. |
