There's some pretty sweet sports cars that are hybrid, or just don't run on gas at all. I don't remember the price, but I'm sure they're expensive. Use Google, there might be one in your price range.

Its hard to make a easy buck legally, its impossible to make a easy buck morally.

well so far i've looked at the cayman and the evora. i have zero knowledge of lotus' though so i'll probably just end up reading a bunch on them and see if it would be buyable. the elise is tiny, and being 6 feet tall i think it might be uncomfortable to drive. the evora looked a lot roomier but ill have to figure that out. i also looked at the lexus is f and am gonna do some reading on that as well. i'm not sure which lotus' you can get safetied in canada. i was looking a few years ago and remember one of the lotus' couldn't get safetied here but it might've been the exige.

you had an m3 didn't you milkman? i vaguely recall seeing pictures of it in your blog i think.

Hey DJ, what are you doing for a job now?

You're like one of the illest poker players on here man,
still playing part time online?

life prior to working then playing part time better?
life playing fulltime better?

why?

figured i'd throw that out there;

GL,
Ryan

Hey Ryan,

I'm a portfolio reporting analyst. I'm kind of the link between the traders and the brokers; we manage our database of securities. It's a finance position where I have the opportunity to learn a lot from a lot of different departments so it was a good place to get my foot in the door.

I kind of just play whenever I feel like it now, no strict schedule just more of a hobby I suppose.

I feel like its too early to tell whether life before or after working was better. There is a sense of freedom you get from playing full time that you obviously can't have working, but it feels like you can still have some sense of that if you use the time outside of work constructively. My circadian rhythms are much more in synch now though, as I have a "normal" sleep schedule now. I also feel more motivated to do things outside of poker now. That was one thing that sometimes it felt difficult to do. You were only motivated to grind, and outside of that you felt sluggish. I'm more physically tired than mentally tired I think. I'm sure I'll get more used to it at some point but yeah thats my early read. I'm also having less emotional swings from the pokers, which has to be healthy.

I'm still going to go to WSOP and stuff and will still play some tournaments if I have the vacation days for it, but not too much has changed. I've just replaced school with work. I was happy before, I'm still happy now.

Life is what you make of it.
