Hey guys,
I haven't really touched poker since black friday and I want to start trying to make some money again. Anyone know a good place for low stakes (1/2 or 2/3) in the San Diego area that I can start grinding again? I know there's the palomar but apparently its raked $5 per flop which seems like it would be pretty awful for 2/3. Any info appreciated!

Rake at these casinos makes it breakeven at best to play anything 1/2 and less.... 2/3 you can probably make a profit over time if your good because they play is so straight up and awful... atleast that's my experience here in LA. |

the rake is unavoidable
play at palomar 2/3 or village club. palomar is much closer, also many SD poker players im friends with play the 5/10 there, i could introduce u to cosmo or something

theres also lucky lady which is near palomar, they run 2/5 sometimes i think |

Yea that would be awesome. Do you still live in san diego? Also does anyone know what's considered to be a solid live win rate? |

Post black friday I built up my live roll playing at oceans 11 but it was little longer of drive from downtown where I lived. Potentially building up to be able to play the 5/5 there would be my goal if you are only playing live |

nah i live in LA and play at commerce full time. i'll probably move back in a year, i still come down all the time tho. |
