cool stuff. i don't really know anything about this kind of music, but from purely general musical perspective:
i think for the first song where the main melody is ACEACAAA, where you slightly vary the rhythm x/y/x
where x is like ACEACA AA and y is like ACEAC AAA (don't know if there's an easier way to notate this but i hope you get what i mean)
if you make the CA AA parts of x somewhat more staccato (esp the underlined notes) it will help make the transition between the rhythmic variations seem more organic/professional, just my opinion.
(mostly thinking about whatever non-bass instrument is being synthesized since bass is more limited with articulation but i guess it could apply to both to some degree) |
