the ads dont show up when reading, I got the kindle with ads I dont even notice them

new kindles were announced today, from what i've seen prize seems to be very low and new models are sick good with new lighting system. I would wait.

Yes kindles are a just too good for the price they are charging. The cheapest new one costs 70$ or something like that.

what kindle do you suggest for reading books and surfing?

Don't take the Fire-s, those are not ebook readers, they are simply tablets.

I have the 3rd gen kindle with keyboard and 3G and I love it.

My dad is going to get the new one because he too uses mine and likes it a lot.

There is a DX edition which has a larger screen but its a generation or two older and much more expensive. It was supposed to be used to read pdf, like 2-column scientific papers etc. but it does not work.

Ebook Readers currently have no value to me and I am sticking with my trusted physical copies. Insight to why this statement is ignorant?

Its not ignorant, if you have a nice hardcover nothing is going to be better than it. But if you're at a vacation or in a train or wherever you cannot carry all those books. Getting a new book takes 1 minute with a kindle. Kindle editions are cheaper than paperbacks. And many paperbacks get destroyed after 1.5 times or reading.

get a nexus or samsung 7 inch tab. kindle fire is just bad.
