there are really masons, but the masonic social order is not all dark and evil as in fiction. i know a few masons and its a social fraternity. from what i understand of the illuminati, it was started by some radical Austrian guy (I think he was Austrian) back in the late 1800s as a radical branch of the masons, but he was cut off and expelled by the masons.

I do not think anything materialized from that, except in pop culture and in story telling. it's always good to have some shadowy conspiracy laden bad guys ruling the world, or trying to.

there is a lot of symbolism in the United States, in regards to masons, but that goes without saying. the united states was founded by masons. It wasn't by masons, for masons, but those who led the charge, many of them were masons.

The thing about the group is that, if you remember a few years ago Obama and Hillary mysteriously disappeared and journalists were led into an airplane etc. you can find that vid on youtube pretty funny... but this all happened during bilderberg and just after Hillary announced she was stepping down.

The point is that democracy is not real and just a circus I think people are even more hopelessly enslaved under democracy since they think they are free and their opinion matters.
