I dont think youre allowed to touch the chips in the pot, it shouldnt be that hard to estimate the size of the pot in your head though. I dunno how counting in hundreds is any harder than counting in single digits.

I doubt that entry to a few freerolls is going to make it +ev, especially if the structure is garbage, you might as well just buy lottery tickets instead.

And if people are calling 6x raises PF, you should open that with your strong holdings.

The dealers can't count the pot unless its a pot-limit game. At least that's true in NJ, PA, and I believe Vegas (might be wrong about vegas).

Yeah, you're not allowed to touch the chips but you can ask the dealer to shuffle them around a bit so that there aren't any big ones hiding underneath there

Silliest rule I've encounterd was when I got told I couldnt have a noteblock, and write notes on ppl xD

I found it stupid since everyone at the table almost had ipads, phones, and all kinds of technical devices, one guy even had a hand chart lol.

Sounds pretty standard, the part about the dealer. How it is in all London live games: dealer will never tell you how much is in the pot. Knowing the potsize is just something you gotta work out for yourself. All you can ask (you're never allowed to touch the chips though) is for the dealer to 'spread the pot'.

Look at his hand and equities, what do you expect him to have here, uno cards? - TianYuan

touching the pot is like putting your hand into another person's stack wtf u doin lol

ppl already answered but one of the most standard rules of nl poker is that you have to keep track of the pot for yourself
