Does anybody still play on the servers nowadays?
I'm about to buy the Unreal deal pack on steam for 39.99, includes unreal 2, unreal tournament 3 black, unreal 2004, unreal game of the year edition, unreal gold.
I like switching between fast paced shooters like unreal, and more methodical shooters like call of duty and halo series.

Hm dunno , 39,99 sounds a bit expensive imo
In germany
UT 2004 basically is free UT3 costs ~ 6,50€ Unreal Gold + UT99 go for 6,99€ as a pack.
So UT2004,UnrealGold,UT99 and UT3 all together cost 13€ in Germany.
Dont know if 39,99$ is such a good deal for your package.
UT3 Multiplayer failed pretty hard as far as i remeber and ist dead nowadays
QuakeLive is nice

UT2004 is the only good game included in that list, and it's old as fuck. Unreal 2? Unreal Gold? UT3? I dont think theres even any servers running for those anymore. Even the master list is down. I'm sure there's still a few diehards playing UT2k4 the same way people are still playing Quake 1. I wouldnt pay $30 for it though. |
