Hey people

I d like to buy a new monitor.I have 24 inch 1920x1080 now but since i saw videos of 27 and 30 inch monitors i just want higher resolution.
I found this one on ebay
for 380$.

Anyone have experience with these low cost monitors please?

There are several companies selling them like shymian, crossover and but there is only 1 year warranty.

Thanks and GL

there are lots of forums with threads on these monitors, google it. they all say they are good value but there is no ports except maybe 1 hdmi, and sometimes the power out is from korea or foreign so you need power plug adaptor thing

some also don't work on specific mobo/gpu combos, so you need to check your comp specs

i on the other hand rather not deal with the headache/hassle of these monitors and would wait for Del 27" to go on sale for $700 and buy that instead

are there any large monitors (27+ inch) that support a refresh rate over 60hz at the higher resolutions? Mine supports 75 at 1240x760 which is pretty worthless, since it's a monster step down from 2560x1600

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Don't buy 27 inch, don't have a large sample size, but when I had one, I gave it away, felt so awkward and shitty. And I gave it to a mate, who then gave it to my brother, who then gave it to my dad.

it just feels juacqh, for Poker dual 24, or one of them 30 inches, or maybe two 30 if ur real crazy. My 2 cents xD

Thiz is how I have it. To the right I have put an extra table, in case I get a friend. Then he can sit there :-)

I posted a write up on these a while back

I'm using dual Catleaps in my setup and they're VERY good. I posted a link with more info if you want to check it out.

I got mine for $300 though, so double check to see if you can get a better deal (though this was a while ago and they've probably gained demand at this point).

I believe they sometimes have overclock editions of the Catleap, but I dunno about the availability. You can check http://120hz.net/ for info on this.

I still think its a good deal even the warranty is only for one year
They even have 30 inch models too ... yamakasi sparta and leonidas
Plus that 27 inch catleap has HDMI too.

You gotta plow through that shit !
