Hello, I'm thinking about make regular visits to a card room that is very close by (about 12 min drive away). It's a small casino that has around 6 tables dedicated to poker and the rest dedicated to black jack etc. I was wondering what kind of experiences you all had with small card rooms like these. I've heard rumors about my local card room having a lot regulars that "work together".

The rake is about 3$ + 1$ for jackpots, and 1$ for unflopped pots. I believe the lowest limit has 1-2-3 blinds (yes i think 3 blinds at once) and i think goes up to 3/6 or 5/10. It's located in the middle of two suburban cities, one with 120,000 population, the other about 20,000. Very close by is the wine country where all the rich folks live. This is in northern California btw.

So just wanted to hear what kind of experiences you guys had with small card rooms, up until this point I've only played live poker at friendly house games, Las Vegas, and big casinos out in the middle of Indian territories.

I'm up in the Bay Area, Cache Creek takes about 45 min - 1 hr to get to but the lowest they have is 3/6 at 50bb buy in max which is shove fest shitty. The decent casinos up north from my area take up 90 min to get to, or about 70 min if you're speedin.

Casino M8trix is new, it's down the road from Bay 101, near the San Jose airport.

Never been to it, but the images online look similar to a casino in LV.

Rekrul is a newb
