Let me know what you think, any response is appreciated ;-)

Matt

Don't know if it's just me but the site seems slow.

Raising preflop more than 10% is somewhat wild. 5% is average. Less than 3% is passive.

Ok true its not very fast and we are working on it.

You felt its very disturbing slow?

It seems slower than most sites, true, but it didn't disturb me for the most part. If I your site would be like 2-3E cheaper than the competition than I'm willing to wait like 5 seconds longer just so the page can load. What is 5 seconds on a human life. I'd just make sure you are online and don't end up overloading to the point that the page doesn't even get shown at all. The CD keys seem of really good price and I'd definitely consider buying a game if it's cheapest on your site compared to the couple of other CD key sites I usually visit if I want the game cheap and don't care about the box/disc itself. Seems like a nice site and I wish you the best of luck, and as said I'd be sure to check it out the next time I'm in the market for a game.

Completely different remark, I am busy building a webshop for my dad's business (children furniture for kids from 0-4 years old in case you don't want to help the competition) and I am wondering what the platform is that you are working with. If you care to share or talk about it, just reply or otherwise you can shoot me a PM. I'm currently busy in Joomla 1.5 but I find it hard to decide which shop plug-in I want to use. That and the fact that I'm currently taking exam until the end of this week has the site on hold. Any advice on how you built is appreciated since I think it has a professional enough look to it.

about sc2 beta keys you can get them for free by ordering HotS from Amazon and then cancelling your order.

cd-key comes instantly to your email

Hi Matt, great initiative but the site is too slow. My friend works at Google and I've seen some statistics on websites load times. You lose massive traffic if the site isn't loaded within 2-3 seconds, and I know from my own experience that I'm impatient with this as well.

hey Marco, how are you anyway ? :-)

I agree, i think we have to many images but i'm not an expert at all so its a bit hard for me to know what could be done, i will certainly talk to our IT.

@Kilay - as already written above i'm not the expert but no problem to add me on skype to talk a bit if you want (id: matthiasott14) - we use Magento as the e-comerce tool

It was pretty noticable, especially if you're buying something and have to wait for loading each page it's probably irritating. Affects credibility as well, gives a feeling that you don't want to put credit card information there. Also not really a big fan of the layout, I think generally it would be better to add rows/stuff to the front page and having less(like 3-4) games per row, and on some products the text lines up behind the picture. But it's good enough to begin with at least and change on the way if you feel like it etc, and these are just my own initial thoughts when I got the site

But good idea though, could see myself buying something from there.
